I believe that a truely potterhead would be strong enough to wait and watch the movie in a big screen. Just my opinion. [2] Very true.

AWFUL. For the ones who are loving the marketing... Seriously? With these kind of posters?
-
Nobody agrees? Richard agrees. And not only him. You just have to look Twitter more often. Anyway, leaving :)
-
Well, at least there in my country, I don't see TV spots anywhere. And I know a lot, really a lot, of people who even don't know the release date. People who watched all the Potter movies (but aren't potterheades like us). OK, you can guilt then, but I think the marketing is guilty too.
-
I'm not. I'm not asking these for me, because I even don't like games... But I know a lot of fans like. Anyway, if you will just attack, I'm stopping now :)
-
Where are the games we had in the past? The wallpapers... Something viral. Something like: they could design a page showing The Room of Requirement and we would have to find, I don't know, the horcruxes and the hallows... Good posters, like Molly x Bella; McGonagall x Snape; a wide vision of the battle scene... not these…

The marketing of HBP was totally like this one: a lot of time with nothing and then, in the last month, half-movie released in clips, TV spots and etc. "I don't need 20 trailers and 200 pictures every day to convince me." Neither do I. I'm not asking for a LOT of marketing. I'm asking for a good one. Quantity isn't quality.

They care about making a good movie, about the money earned... but about the marketing? The last good HP marketing was for Goblet of Fire.
-
Is it? Do you work there or did someone from WB tell you that? It's the biggest franchise of all time. Believe me, they care. Unfortunately, I don't work. But I don't have to work there to conclude this. Nobody has.

A lot of TV spots showing only old scenes. Posters awfully designed. And then they'll release 40% of the movie in june, with featurettes, pics, TV spots and TV specials... Where and how is it a good marketing? :(
-
One glimpse of bane.... psh I guarantee you tdkr will have better marketing. Starting from the trailer that will be on dh2[2] "I won't say anything but this. Promise me one thing. Come back here to this thread this time next month (last day of June) and tell me if the marketing is bad or good." Of course they have to…

You are seeing too much, Richard. It's a hole shaped hole. Even in the book, it's not a bat-shaped hole, it's a Snape-shaped hole.
-
I'm worried about this cliff scene... It's very strange, if you remember the book! It looks like they wanted to make the final duel bigger than it really is in the book and they are creating scenes :X I'm really worried... Harry cannot fight equal-to-equal with Voldemort :X

I've always said OotP was the best Harry Potter movie. Now we have DH1, DH1 is the best and Ootp is the second one... It's very clear to me. DH1 > OotP > PoA > PS > HBP > GoF > CoS
