I think it has evolved into the theme of the Wizarding World, or that's what WB is trying to do. An honestly, I don't mind that. It's an amazing theme.

It's so so good!! Didn't know what to expect from the trailer and it blowed my mind. The film looks amazing. November can't come any sooner.
-
Has anyone booked tickets to see this in London? I'm seeing it twice this July. I'm so excited!!

Quite disappointed, to be honest. He is not bad at all, but I really wanted Desplat. Any way, new footage being released this weekend at the MTV Movie Awards. Excited to see what do they show...

I would be surprised if they used music from the actual Fantastic Beasts score for this, but who knows... Btw, isn't it weird that we haven't yet heard who the composer will be?

ME TOO OMG

This featurette got me even more excited than the trailer! Can't wait to discover more about this project.

I agree, the films' narratives should be better given that the stories will be written specifically for the screen. Where do you usually buy screenplays?

It would actually be 19th Anniversary of Philosopher's Stone, but perfect timing nonetheless. Five years after the release of DH2. I think that's enough time for a new chapter to start.

I'm also very excited to see what do they come up with in regards of the customs! And since Colleen Atwood will be the one in charge of those customs I feel like they are in good hands. I'm just so excited about this finally actually happening! The next few months are going to be great.

Really difficult to have an opinion considering that we know next to nothing about these characters. But going just by name, I'd pick Saoirse Ronan, Katherine Waterston and Steve Zissis.

Yesssss! I want Desplat back. I want him to score the full trilogy!

I'm so excited about this! I do wonder though, if this means Rowling is committing to the Cormoran Strike series for the next several years, which seems weird considering how much she talked about being freed from the pressure of releasing the next book in a series after Potter was done. Now it seems like she's just got…

Omg I'm so happy I found this! I had lost all hope. I just thought the forum was gone!

That's a VERY early prediction and I'm sure it will continue to rise over the next couple of weeks. Basically, what that number means is that if the movie were to be released THIS WEEKEND, that's how much it would make. But there are still 3 weeks of promotion to go (and it's the heaviest part of the promo tour), so…

Guys. I just wrote a post and it told me it needed to be approved before it showed on the forum, does anyone know why? What have I done wrong? Also. I don't seem to be able to edit my own posts after I have published them.

lol I was pointing at the fact that the Rowling Facebook posts explicitly says he will direct the filmS, plural. Because the original WB announcement from two days ago only said "Fantastic Beasts will be directed by David Yates," not making it clear whether he would direct the entire trilogy or just the first film. No need…

Rowling's Facebook page pretty much confirmed that Yates will be the director of the whole trilogy. I'm happy with that. Yay for continuity!Warner Bros. have confirmed that the new film series, written by J.K. Rowling and featuring the magical creatures and characters inspired by Harry Potter's Hogwarts textbook 'Fantastic…
