This whole thing is just like a giant HP fan dream coming true.

This movie was absolutely amazing! I loved it! Very well made.

I agree with Nick, I am a devout Christian, and I loved the secularism of the movie. The sci-fi mysteriousness of "The Creator" was great. The art direction, the beauty of the themes and visuals, great The beginning was a little clumsy and kind of went everywhere. Was pretty jumbled by all of it. But when the flood came,…

I was so shocked when I saw this. I'm getting so fucking tired of signing on to IMDb and seeing a beloved actor's face, I sort of just expect it now. Really, I'm not loosing anymore. I can't take this. Some of our greatest talents are being stolen from us by these drugs, and I'm so so damn tired of this. Please, just…

I really have to agree with you on that. It's the only movie of the year that really mastered ALL parts of a movie. 12 years had the emotion, American Hustle had the acting, Her had the screenplay. Gravity had all those things PLUS all the technicals the other movies didn't have.

And I agree, it has a great chance for score. The last song on the soundtrack gives me the soul of a native tribal lady as her people rise from the burning forests.

Even though it probably won't even be nominated because it doesn't have stupid, witty, back and forth dialogue, this movie deserves best screenplay. The scene with Ryan talking on the radio is pure screenplay writing at it's best.
-
Oh, of course. It's a classic. And it might make you understand the movie and some things in it more.

My friend Corey and I were two giddy Catholic school boys at the scene. :P And when gale kisses Katniss, Corey turned to me and whispered "Jake. I would give my left testicle to kiss her." Hahahahaha.

Haha. Jena Malone for the win. Hot little biscuit tho. Face 10, body 10. Pretty much hit that every night... Sssexually.
-
This is a quote from my sister.. "Jennifer Lawrence has a very ugly crying face. And I applaud her for it." :P What she basically meant was she liked how Jen isn't obsessed with looking good on camera, but acting well on camera.

There's a part of me that can really see this winning best picture. And there's a part of me that can see the Academy saying "screw it" and give it a nomination for visuals, like Prometheus. We'll see, but in my opinion, this movie deserves a lot of awards.

Also, the arena crumbling was pure art. Very very beautiful. The cinematography was absolutely superb.

The movie was surprisingly good. I was very impressed with the directing, some very nice style. Not at all really what I felt or saw in my mind while reading the book, but good nevertheless. The characters and acting were great. Johanna was so my favorite. I think my favorite lines of the whole movie were.. "A wedding…

Even though I did not find the movie as bad as you did, Jordy, I can see where you are coming from. Just out of curiosity, have you read the book?
-
Hahahahahahaha. Johanna's f bomb is the greatest thing ever. I miss Gretchen Ross tho!
-
Wow. This really looks amazing. Definite Oscar possibility.

I mean, when you have a movie based on a bible story, they're going to mix it up a little. The Bible holds some great stories to make movies out of, but stories we've heard. In this day and age, you have to mix in a little originality or else it won't work well. And Darren, being an atheist, is probably not going out to…
