•
Clips and trailers is one thing.. watching fourty minutes of a movie is another.
Oh I'm not watching the entire thing, lol. That would be way too much. But I am watching up until Seven Potters then maybe skimming to get the feel for it.
 • I'm watching. I don't give a fuck lol. I love spoilers and have watched every clip and trailer since the first two films. It's never ruined the experience for me. It's part of the experience for me. :)
 •
It seems Fuxor's thoughts were correct afterall, LOL.
You do realize that he was joking? Though yeah his fake thoughts were correct. But even I had a feeling that this would be the general consensus
 •
Lol. They gave 4/5 to TRANSFORMERS 2, so their review is bullshit.
Except that was a different reviewer. Mark Samuels reviewed TF2. Dan Goodswen reviewed Part I
 •
You don't happen to be Leo from the Inception board, do you? And what's your CoS account?
No, I didn't post there. And my CoS username is this same name.
 • NEW REVIEW: http://www.totalfilm.com/reviews/cinema/harry-potter-and-the-deathly-hallows-part-1 3/5
 •
Just exactly who is this naysayer Leo_Lovegood? Are they on CoS as well or IMDB or what?
IMDb and I do have an account on CoS but I rarely use it at all.
 •
the academy is made up of critics idiot
LOL. No it isn't. It's made up of people who work in the film industry. The actors, the directors, writers, etc etc. Critics don't choose the nominees or winners. http://www.oscars.org/academy/members/index.html
 •
Umm, It's not an opinion, it's a fact,
No, it's definitely opinion. I don't think the film moved that slowly. I think Chamber of Secrets and even Prisoner of Azkaban (my favorite) moved slower than HBP.
 • We really shouldn't be acting like this is some bad review. It was still positive and had many good things to say. Let's stay optimistic :)
 •
It's very strange that DH received IGN's lower rating of all series. I mean... CoS being better than DH? That's just impossible.
No. That's just an opinion.
 •
HBP is, indeed, really slow paced
In YOUR opinion. The critic, and I, think otherwise
But then again this film is worse than CoS & Ps, WTF? the bore feast that is CoS has a better rating than DH?
This guy thinks so, yes. A lot of critics gave CoS great reviews. It has better…
 •
I respect his opinion on how the middle section dragged but to rate that as the lowest rated HP film is just utterly stupid as he clearly states that he was impressed with many aspects of the film. Add to that the stupid complaint that the film has no resolution, guess what, part 2 would have no set up too,…
 • "but I just don't get the lower rating compared to previous installments." Wow. :| Maybe he just didn't personally find the previous films as slow paced as he found Part I? This is all based on opinion and you act as if it's a fact that HBP is slow paced. I for one did not find Prince to be slow paced at all. The pacing…
 • Yes, it'll be a fresh review.
 • How is his rating unfair? He saw the movie and those were his thoughts. We haven't seen the movie and we cannot judge it based on the book because scenes and pacing work differently on screen. Some of us may not have thought the camping was boring in the book but it could feel a lot slower watching it.
 • Well that wasn't his only complaint. He thought the entire middle section slowed down dramatically and he didn't like the over-exposition. The review was fair. Just that complaint about there being no conclusion was idiotic.
 • I really liked the lines. The writing seems like it'll be as good, if not better than it was in HBP. And the way Rupert and Dan played off each other was good. They've really matured so much as actors.
 • Sounds like my kind of place. And yes, that's me. I do totally work for WB :P
 • I am Andrew Garfield btw. I changed my ID after The Social Network lol. Before I was Leo_Cobb, Leo_Lovegood, The_Hurt_Leo. Anything with Leo in it lol.
