I don't think people hate Kloves for his obvious Harry/Hermione bias, but more for his pathetic, horribly simplified rendering of the characters. Of course, simple minds like simple things, so a lot of people enjoy the pigeon-hole way in which Kloves rendered the characters (Ron was 100% comic relief, Hermione was 100%…

He may be many things, but he's not a coward. He sacrificed himself in the chess match to get the philosopher's stone when he was just 11. He was willing to accompany Harry into the Chamber of Secrets to rescue his sister. I doubt you'd get many cowardly people walking into a lair of giant spiders, even if they weren't…

Ew.

Wasn't it the procedure that Voldemort had to go through to get the little shrivelled body he had in GOF that made the editor want to throw up? Maybe I'm talking shit. :-?

It annoys me how much the media in this country hype Tom Daley up. I guess it's because of his age, but seriously, if they'd stop going on about him so much and give him some space, he'd feel less pressure to perform and as a result would probably perform better. It's unfair the pressure he gets put under sometimes.

I do think if they'd set up the backstory more thoroughly, there'd be a much better understanding of the situation and it would probably be easier to engage. I mean, we're not even told that Panem is the USA. That little propaganda video played at the Reaping should have been a minute or two longer and just straightened…

I don't personally think it was a mistake by Nolan, I think it was just a way to show how flawed Batman's inflexible thinking could be.

Did I imagine Batman throwing Dent to his death? He killed a guy there, and I'm pretty sure that was...a circumstance. :)) And there's a bit earlier in the same movie where he rams the Batmobile into a truck and fucking crushes the entire front of it, including where the driver was sitting. Pretty sure that guy wouldn't be…

I'll admit, in the first few days I was worried we'd get hardly anything and it would be a humiliation, but once the golds started coming, they don't seem to have let up. May it continue! :D

Straight sets, what a win. Not only that, he and Laura Robson finished with an admirable silver in the mixed doubles. Not bad for a wildcard pairing.

Nah, they transferred his blood into a dead man who looked like Dr. Pavel, so they'd think it was him. Bane ordered one of his followers to remain behind because the CIA guy had informed his agency that he'd caught only one of Bane's followers. I wonder what they'd have done if he told them he'd caught all three. Surely…

I'm naming my daughter Luna.

I'm a bit taken aback that they're actually going ahead with this. I'm not sure how I feel about it. On the one hand, I hope this doesn't mean three shorter movies instead of two longer ones. On the other hand, I don't want three excessively bloated movies. I say it would have been better to stick with just the two movies,…

The only other person I remember praising Harry's father was Hagrid, but then he said in the same speech that James was Head Boy in his day so I don't rely on that. Snape did good things too. In fact, Snape did some pretty amazing things. Both men ultimately stood up for what was right, and both were, to the best of our…

Everyone else being his own friends. I seriously doubt Sirius and Lupin would have told Harry anything but that his father had reformed, if only to give him comfort. :P The only times we ever see James in the books are when he's dead or being a privileged little dick, so I find it hard to stomach this "oh he suddenly…

From what little we know of James, I feel as if he actually mirrors Snape in many ways. I know we're told a couple of times that he repented of his arrogant douchey ways, but I'm not sure I really believe it. James was just born into much more fortunate circumstance than Snape. If you strip away their background, their…

Oh it should definitely beat out QOS in terms of quality, that was a bit of a disaster. I'm hopeful it will match or maybe even exceed CR though, that is the benchmark for Craig's films and for pretty much 80% of the Bond films.

I'm kind of sad they didn't include any Tolkein. Did they just forget about him? Oops we forgot the father of modern fantasy... :|

I loved the NHS tribute for its irony. I mean, the current UK government has made it their mission to utterly destroy the NHS.
