Which pretty much says it all about certain posters. Look, I'm not even trying to make it into a big deal, and I'm not an anal person-- it's just a message board-- but so far it's slightly hindering thoughtful discussion and again, it looks horrible. A message forum should strive to be coherent and visually appealing with…

See? It's happening right here and now. Pretty obnoxious.
-
Which is kind of depressing, but if you don't even have the effort to type something out, why even bother being on a forum?
-
Except they're not voicing their thoughts. The whole point of a message board is discussion. For the record, I don't think that someone should have to make it public that they think a post is funny or WTF or whatever. I've seen a lot of funny posts that made me giggle, for better or for worse, but I didn't feel the need to…

It's just a bunch of unnecessary garbage that gives people a window of opportunity to not comment at all, but rather click a button to express how they feel about a post. Even if this wasn't abused, which it sadly already has been, it has still did nothing but clutter the board with useless nonsense.
-
The buttons aren't good, but it fuglies the threads up pretty bad. I have signatures turned off but I get a bit sick to my stomach thinking about what it would look like otherwise.
-
Now instead of disagreeing or agreeing with something, I have a button that can express that. Who needs to even post opinions anymore?
-
I like how we can like and dislike posts now. Really caters to the idea of thoughtful replies and constructive criticism.

Hermione a better character than Voldemort? Oh Jesus no?

But hey, maybe Nolan agrees with the good ol' HPF adage of longer=better. It's incorrect, but whatever. TDKR will be a great one-watch, but after that I imagine that, just like it's also over-long predecessor, it will quickly become a chore. I do not see myself watching this movie more than once. If anything I'll check it…

Apparently the first hour is a clusterfuck of weird storytelling and awful pacing, but that's a given considering the 2 hour 45 minute runtime. Deathly Hallows Part 2 told an excellent story ripe with emotional and powerful moments and character development, and it did so efficiently and in under 2 hours. More films need…

Where can I vote for Deathly Hallows?
-
I feel the same. The ones you mentioned are IMO the holy trifecta of the novels. The rest range from good to great, but those three go above and beyond the call of duty.
-
Deathly Hallows takes a painstaking shit on the rest.
-
Like I said, fair enough, I'll drop it. If you're that passionate about it, so be it, I'm in no position to tell you that you're wrong so I fully apologize for coming off that way. I disagree with all my mind, body and soul but your thoughts are your own.

I mean, the first Harry Potter is vastly superior to THG, but I wouldn't even put that in my top 20, let alone my top 10 and son I have some pure insanity love for some Harry Potter.
-
The proof is on the screen. If you wish to remain brainwashed and think that THG is that good, fair enough, it's your opinion, I just can't help but feel like popularity is a major contributing factor.
-
I'm all for opinions, I just really can't see it. I have no idea how you can say it's in your top ten favorite movies of all time considering how many movies are out there, how many more films are wildly more prestigious and clearly well made, written, and performed than THG. Again, I just really don't see it.

Halloween, Empire Strikes Back, three Lord of the Rings, eight Harry Potters, The Godfather, Titanic, Signs, Jurassic Park, Jaws, E.T., Alien, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Casino Royale, Braveheart, Saving Private Ryan, Ghostbusters I just named 25 movies in about 10 seconds that are factually superior to The Hunger Games.

oh my god
