It has higher scores than The King's Speech! They can't ignore that!! The average rating is the barometer of quality (according to the critics). The King's Speech has a 8.6/10 rating. DH2 has a 8.4/10 rating. So The King's Speech has better reviews. But DH2 is still one of only 13 films to have got 8.4 or higher since…

Where's Andrew 97? I wanna know what's come out so far that should still be awaiting adding to RT... Sorry, I've been out all day. So I only did the reviews that had a rating, as these are the ones I'm generally most interested in, as they affect the RT average rating. Here we go: All reviews to be added on RT (by order of…

Another mixed one :-S 3 out of 5 http://www.scotsman.com/movies/Film-review-Harry-Potter-And.6799132.jp

Yeah, that comment was hard to understand, to be honest. Anyway, more reviews: http://movies.msn.com/movies/movie-critic-reviews/harry-potter-and-the-deathly-hallows-part-2/?_r=true http://blogs.laweekly.com/stylecouncil/2011/07/harry_potter_and_the_deathly_h.php…

He called the film "wonderful, superb, etc." but it just didn't catch his fancy - yet he acknowledges it's 'goodness'. He didn't call the film superb. He found some aspects of it superb (the visuals) and disliked others. He noted that his reaction was mixed. Just because he persoanlly is uninterested doesn't mean it's…

I didn't feel that way. I felt both were very mixed. The critics themselves noted them as "Mixed" not "Positive". Also, I think counting 2 reviews from 2 critics who happen to be on the same site is fine.

Andrew, I'm seeing the film tomorrow. Buhaha :) :-S How come??
-
Guys, we're in for an exciting movie! I'm seeing it in 2 days (I live in Egypt), Nyahahaaa

I will update these numbers as we go along

My average rating stats as of now: RT CURRENT = 8.2/10 (3 reviews are yet to be added: The Independent, Sky Movies and News of the World) RT INCLUDING YET TO BE ADDED REVIEWS = 8.3/10 TOTAL INCLUDING NON-RT REVIEWS = 8.1/10
-
He considers it 3/5 on a scale with no halves (7/10 is 3.5/5), but on RT it will be counted as 7/10
-
On RT, B translates to 7/10.

Also this one hasn't been added yet: http://newsblaze.com/story/20110711062501kamw.nb/topstory.html (4/4)

Henrick, Christy Lemire's ABC.com review is actually rated 3.5/4 (it's in the last line of her review). You have it listed in the unrated category. 3.5/4 translates to 4.375/5 (approx. 4.5/5) By the way, I love the way you redesigned the reviews posts.

I'm so happy about this (from i-Flick's review): "But there are quiet moments too: a brief trip to Kings Cross nails the novel’s existential notes, while one of the best shots sees Harry sitting, silently, alone on the stairs. "

I've tried to contact them a few times before for review errors and updates. They never reply.

My response would have been received by you in your messages. Lord Stafford. Sorry, I hadn't seen it.

Thats why they are fans because they are fanatical about something. I think you can be passionate about something (I'm a fan by the way, and I'm passionate about Potter) and still have a critical eye over some aspects of it. And even if you love every bit of it and have absolutely no criticism, you can expect others to…

Don't take them seriously, you'll rarely find a negative review directed at Potter with any substance behind it. Serious? God, Harry Potter fans can be badly fanatical. You've already said that, and i've already replied, but... they rarely give an explanation, meaning that they're unfounded and 'not to be taken seriously'…
