Lord StaffordOh, I know. I don't like to edit, so, I often just delete whatever comment I made, and start over. You've probably noticed how a comment of mine will appear, and then disappear. The forum system might not have been able to keep up, since, with my threads, it doesn't. I know I have more than 156.

SarahElizabeth!No offense Henrique, you're cool and everything, but you don't need to get mad at people for disliking the use of the buttons. It's their opinions. I happen to love the positive buttons, but don't like the negative buttons that much. I think it's fine when they are properly used. -
AllStar87Yeah it's one thing to send a pm to find out what's wrong and to fix a problem but don't call them out in front of the whole activity thousands of times. -

Lord StaffordFortunately, Henrick, I'm making it known, when something is happening for the wrong reasons. AllStar, I've tried that, but it doesn't work. Plus, it's one thing to call out someone because they have done something wrong and for the wrong reasons (Loki and Henrick) but it's another to post a PM that someone has sent you. I didn't mind, and they know who they are, but if it's bad that I stand up against the wrongdoers, it's certainly wrong that you post a PM where everyone can see it.

Anyway, the point is, people have posted their feelings about it, such as James for example. He has sent PMs, posted in threads, and activity so everyone knows he doesn't like how the buttons are being used against him. I just went back 2 pages, and on one of his updates he got 7 disagrees, 2 flags, and 1 off-topic for something that was completely relevant. I've always been an empathetic person, so it is easy for me to visualize what another is feeling. I understand each person's view and why he believes that. Who wouldn't feel like it's bullshit when people he has talked to for a long time anonymously press so many negative buttons, yet everyone denies it. If it's "just a website" and we aren't a big deal, why can't you fess up? If it's "just a website" are we emotionless? No. If you feel powerful anonymously insulting someone repeatedly all week, you're wrong.
He is making the unnecessary crap known because if it keeps escalating, it will need to be controlled.
In the past few days I have been getting a lot of crap too. It's all on the activity page too. I've gotten twice as many flags and off-topics in the last 2 days than since we got it. Nearly every disagree is from here or the Olympic Thread. And the thing is, I have no idea who is doing it. I don't have a clue who thinks I'm a troll.. It's sad. I wish I knew which (5-7) of you it is. First time is a joke, but when you are asked to stop, yet you flag up the thread, it is abuse. It's not off-topic, it is not spamming or trolling, and it is pointless to disagree. -
SarahElizabeth!I had 6 points this morning on the leaderboard and now I have none, haha. Yesterday I had 93 agrees and now I have 89. That means someone is unagreeing. That's funny.

RyGuyIn all honesty saying that using buttons against someone to "insult them" is one if the most idiotic arguments I have ever heard when it comes to this. They are buttons. Plain and simple. People seem to take things so personally. Alas, I have been in the same boat as you both and the same person on here trolls, disagrees and off topics most of my stuff but do I make a bunch of posts on Activity clogging it up with unneeded negativity? No. Because this is just a forum, and those are just points. They are no there to insult people, if you really feel that they do then that must form from some manner of insecurity. Points on a Harry Potter forum do not matter. They do not get you elected to public office. They do not win you a free T-Shirt or other giveaway. They do not ban you. They do not mean you are the best or worst person on the forum. They do not mean a damn thing other than someone thinks your posts are A) Agreeable. B) Disagreeable. C) Insightful D) LOL-worthy. E) Off-Topic. F) Spam. G) Trolling, or H) Abuse. Plain and simple. It doesn't matter honestly what people think about your posts. It doesn't matter how many points you have. It doesn't matter. Period. Seriously, go dislike every post Ive ever posted on here, call it spam, abuse, whatever. I do not care. It's pointless. It honestly is, and worrying about it so much is really really worthless of your time. In fact me posting this is wasting my time, this is just common sense not an opinion.

I don't give a damn about the buttons in all honesty. I just respect people. It was extremely rude to take a PM and make it public. It's private for a reason. Also, someone dislikes being flagged and ask for it to stop? I would because that's what they want. Sure, go and do it to whomever you like, but being polite and stopping is the responsible thing to do. -

Lord StaffordIn this case, no, Henrick, Ry is not the voice of truth. You can be banned for having too many flagged posts, and if I'm banned because of this, I'm taking people with me, permanently. Of course, it'd be impossible for me to actually disagree with something you do or say, because whenever I have, you've just gone ahead and disagreed with everything, like you're trying to keep my disagrees above yours. Not only that, but I'm sure if I were to say something that you agreed with, you wouldn't press the 'Agree' button. That alone makes it obvious that you are trying to push me out, and you are "trolling" I could use that as an insult, but I wouldn't stoop that low. You and I have got on in the past, but if you doubt my reasoning, then I'd suggest that you look up the term of "trolling"

You're clearly holding something against me, and I'd like to know what that is. I have nothing against you, personally, but it seems like you're holding a grudge against me. We can all see it, even if most of the people on here won't admit it.
