How the hell does a darts championship have a more active and vibrant crowd than any other sport? It has to be one of the least active games out there....

Hm, I've never seen a darts championship so I can't say - but I doubt the crowd is more energetic than a NBA playoff game or a college football/basketball game. You got a video?

  • Something I noticed: in Order of the Phoenix and Half-Blood Prince the Death Eaters wear their masks. In Deathly Hallows however, when they're in control, they don't. They have nothing to hide. It's a nice little detail, I thought.

Ah, yes. I'm very fond of "Images and Words". As for Seventh Wonder, if you have the time, check out their half-hour epic "The Great Escape". It's mind blowing.

I'll be sure to. Here's Dream Theater's 42 minute epic "Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence"

  • I think the biggest strength for the Hobbit is that it actually feels like an adventure. I mean, so few film's these days seem to capture that tonality. It's quirky, it's fun, and at times, a little scary. I think that, despite having a number of flaws, it did the essence of the book justice.

No, just, whatever it is with, settle down. Calm yourself, however you can, and however you see fit.

Same here, Aaron. I can't wait to see how Smaug turns out. I'm sure he will be the most "real-looking" dragon in film history. The little glimpses of him only had me amped up for more.

This is awesome. I think his work on HBP was really good but he needed to step it on OOTP. There were some great standouts, but a lack of something that tied it all together.

Agreed with aaron. It's a pity that one of the strongest films have the weakest score of them all.
  • Trying to build up some enthusiasm to complete my Potter rewatch. I can't seem to. I just don't really care anymore. Part I and II are the only ones in the series I really enjoy watching now.
