OT: It's Snowing!

In my previous thread on Snowing in the UK, I complained that Wales hasn't had any snow since January and how the rest of the UK was covered in this white blanket. Well, today's the day when Wales sees its first snowfall in December for about 3 years!

Oh Lucky!
It was snowing so heavily in London yesterday but it didn't settle because it was too wet. Enjoy it, mate !
Although, I don't want it to snow because we have to go to a christmas party tonight so if i have to drive in feet after feet of snow I won't be happy.

I think it snowed seven inches this week. It hasn't really snowed like this before Christmas in like fifteen years. Snow like this where it makes a mess of the roads and all the kids get off school. It has been crazy weather. Probably because we had such a dry summer.

I am. Wisconsin is well-known for getting a lot of snow. It's not too bad right now though. Not for where I am located.

Yes. I am in Ohio which they consider the midwest though it isn't west at all. I have never understood that one.

Sorry i just have to share. It is -2 degrees Fahrenheit at the moment. That is pretty cold. I can't imagine what the wind chill is out there.

I don't think we have had quite seven inches. Maybe five. We are supposed to get more in the next day or so as well. I don't mind snow too much, but the cold and the wind is just something else.

I like snow but seem that my old country doesn't , Here it's PANIC when we have 3 snowflakes (road, airport etc.. ^^)

Yeah it is strange how that is. There are some places where they close their airport because of an inch of snow and here we just go merrily on our way.

I can't imagine what that is like. They never close the airport here. At least i have never known it to happen. Usually if a flight gets canceled for weather it is because some place that doesn't know how to take care of it causes a problem for other flights. Missing flight attendents.

We're supposed to get hit with ice, then sleet, then up to 7" of snow. I'm so glad I went grocery shopping today.
