Has JK Rowling already published her next book?

This may sound like a conspiracy thoery, but I heard JK Rowling on the radio a while ago saying that she would probably publish her next books under a different name to avoid comparison. She also said she had written a new idea for younger readers. What if she has already published a new book or books under a different name. What do you think? It's likely to be published with Bloomsbury again so I've been trying to find something which fits the bill. What do you think? Am I crazy?

    It makes sense actually! Judging from the way she wrote the 7th book I can tell that she's under pressure. She seemed to finish this book hurriedly or else under the pressure of publishing companies. If i were her I would use a pen name and write another book, this way at least I can avoid some nasty criticisms based on the previous work.

    true buddy... even then ppl are goona find out her works and there will be criticisms as always.
    i agree with you all that the 7th was done ubder great pressure . also if there was an entire change of subject in her next book maybe that might help her ... like switching over to science fictions lol!!

    So I've been searching Bloomsbury's recent publications for titles by new authors that fit the bill and there's a series called The Dragon Detective Agency. There seems to be confusion about whether it's by Gareth Jones or Gareth P Jones which seems a bit odd. (check out the amazon page http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/0747586411/202-5787427-6190237?v=glance&n=266239&s=gateway&v=glance) Doesn't sound like much of a pseudonym. It's not an anagram of Rowling or anything, I've checked. I haven't read it though so I don't know if it sounds like her. I'll keep hunting. I'm getting more sure that it's already out there.

    Dragon Detective Agency? Well people assume that Rowling will write another fantasy story but in fact it can be anything! From love stories to science fiction so it's actually hard to search for her pen name.

    I think your totally wrong that she would write under a different name
    if and when she does write new books not to do with Harry Potter everyone who enjoyed harry potter will want to read them
    and if she did write under a new name she would be alienating existing reader and would have to start making a name for herself all over again
