so by spliting his soul 7 times the less human he becomes...then why does he have some characteristics as a snake.

Well he possessed a snake for years, he basically has a pet snake, he's descended and a firm supporter of Slytherin, he speaks parseltongue. A snake is basically his personality.

haha I don't think the fact that he's got a pet snake makes him look like a snake, but yeah he's quite inhuman. That's what K would have being gong for.
