It bothers me Hermione & Ron's attitude. Why didn't they attempted to help him? Can't find a good reason. It's like "Who cares about Dobby? Let him die."

Of course I wasn't expecting them to save him lol it's just that they shouldn't have shot it that way.

I think they knew that there was no hope in saving him, Bellatrix's knife was so big it probably went clear through his tiny little body. When I saw the midnight showing you could hear people sniffing through the whole theater, don't think there was a dry eye in the place. It's the scene you'll hate to love.

yeah i agree with decarus, it was just okay, i think they missed a proper background score here,they should have made that scene really touching with good background score to support dobbys death

I cried both times I've seen the movie. I think Dobby's little speech in Malfoy Manor right before they apparated made it even more emotional, at least for me. His death was by far the most emotional scene in the movie for me.

It was a great death scene. In my opinion, the cinematography did it all for me. The shots, just the way Harry looked and acted, how they were all wet, the background. The music was good but it could've been better if they used "Farewell to Dobby" more prominently.

agreed, i think that was their way of silently saying he would die without saying it loud, for dobby's sake. plus, the snatcher who had the sword said they went through her bag - so why/when would they have given it back...i sort of assumed that it was gone and she really didn't have anything to help with anyway.
