I would rather die than "switch to Twilight". Which, btw, makes no sense. Twilight and Harry Potter aren't similar in any way, so what would it be that leads Harry Potter fans over to the dark side? Robert Pattinson? LOL
here we go again... the endless discusion about hp vs the twilight saga... I really feel like sinking this thread

as far as I know.. Daniel Radcliffe Is more popular than Robert Pattinson.. I do remeber something.. that there is a girl being asked if she knew Robert Pattinson.. then she replied.. "Who's Robert Pattinson? I don't know him.."
And what about Edward Cullen? -Yea I know him.
It's pretty obvious that ppl knows Edward than Robert.. why is that?...
They just don't mix, they're books that don't touch. Twilight - Romance throughout, Vampires, Werewolves, Fantasy. Harry Potter - Spells, Magic, Wizards, Witches, Romance only in last three books.
Completely different, nothing alike except for the fact that they were both written by women authors, and that they are both fantasy.
So I say, STOP COMPARING THEM! and IF YOU WANT TO READ EITHER OF THEM IT'S YOUR CHOICE!
I have to admit, I read Twilight first, and I'm certainly not proud of it. Then there was all this comparing going on, so I said to myself, "How about I just read Harry Potter and find out for myself which is better?" And so I did. Plus, as I said above, they are absolutely nothing alike! Yet, I was absolutely transfixed and addicted to it the moment I'd read page one!
Then, afterwards, about the third time round that I'd read them, I went back to read Twilight again, to see what I thought of it now I'd read Harry Potter.
I found that it was much of a much poorer standard and quality than the first time I read it ... It lacked way too much detail and it went way to fast. I enjoyed Harry Potter much more, the anxiety throughtout the book even though I knew what would happen, and then the lovely, sweet ending that tied it up nicely.
So, no, I will never compare them. But, I must admit, if you compared the writers actual skill, there ability to hold their audience's attention and keep it there until the very end, not-to-mention the brilliant sentence stucture and chapter related information and character building, J.K would win over and over again without hesitation.
Actually the Harry Potter books were making me want to drive a rusty nail through my hand to lessen the pain of reading the DH book, The first six were fine that one was too rushed, and the Hp romances apart from the Ron and Hermione the rest are total BS, one chapter in HBP Harry's obsessed with Draco, next he's totally in love with a ginger shrew, George marries his dead twins EX, issues?
yeah harry potter books 10/10 twilight books10/10 so can every one just stop comparing these books they are both great books by great authors.whats stopping people from liking both..i know its pompous prats who think that to be a fan of harry potter you must hate every other book in the universe reality check you don't . hey - ginny-x-w here! i loved dh - best one! an it adds to the tension, leading up to the final battle, when it's fast - because harry is moving a lot, practically on the run, with ron and hermy BS ? h/g!?! u gotta be --- ginger shrew??? ginger shrew with a temper enough to kill you! I love harry and ginny - and the harry and draco thing??? either the fan girlie in you is coming out and taking sectumsempra scene a bit too far lol or you havent read the book... george was probs attracted to her too - twin thing - and maybe he thought that was what fred wanted... so ye --- read chapter 24 in HBP again :-) u wont regret :-)
HARRY ! of course , can't you see the difference ? harry is much more better than edward ! duh ? haha .. peace ! anyway, i would remain loyal to harry no matter what ! haha
