Saw the film last night with a bunch of local critics, and I have no words.
I thought the series was in shambles after seeing Order of the Phoenix, which in my opinion, was a train-wreck.
But David Yates truly stunned me with his ability to capture the light-hearted emotion that filled the book. Bruno Delbonnel's cinematography was a little on the plain side, but it still had a great way about it. On a side note, I heard they changed the colors? That could be why something looked off ..
Anyway, someone who's performance really shocked me was Helen McCrory's. I was depressed when I heard a rather unknown actress would be taking on a cult favorite character, and even more depressed when I saw the look they gave her. But looks truly do deceive. Her emotions were powerful, and her lines were well delivered, so pat on the back to Helen for giving us a great Narcissa.
The rest of the film runs pretty much how the original test screeners said it would, however I noticed the scene with McGonagall was added in. Maggie Smith is a wonderful actress, as the previous films have shown.
So yeah, won't bore you with an enormous review, just thought I'd let you know that it is AMAZING!

which mcgonagall scene??
That's in the movie? Do you mean the part where Harry is in Dumbledore's office, and he pockets the wand? What about Dumbledore's Funeral is that in the movie because people keep saying it is then they say it's not?
This this the scene:

Um...Harry, Ron and Hermione...
Though Ginny's there for that scene as well but walks off before the end doesn't she, dietsoda?
And I'm really glad there's that small scene in his office.
Is it out earlier in other countries?

It's where journalists from the press get to see an early screening so they can write their reviews and get them ready before the film is released to the public. Which is the 15th.
Thank you : )
And what kind of route do the DEs take while traveling through the castle?
And we've heard they destroy some parts of the castle (except the Great Hall).Do you remember?
Thanks in advance.
