Well I definitely think it will be longer in the film, just watch 48 seconds. Tonks is stood by the door, and Fred and George are in the background and then Moody walks over to them and they are straight in front of him, in front of the door with Tonks nowhere to be seen.
MAD-EYE Everyone here's of age, Potter, and they've all agreed to take the risk.
MUNDUNGUS Technically, I've been coerced.
MAD-EYE Nip it, Mundungus! All right, Granger, as discussed.
Hermione grabs a tuft of Harry's hair--yanks.
HARRY Bilmey, Hermione!
MAD-EYE Straight in here, if you please.
Moody holds out the flask, un-stoppered now. The potion inside begins spit forth smoke. He hands it to George.
And here:
Fred takes the flask from George, followed by Ron, Hermione, Fleur and Mundungus, who attempts a feeble bit of fakery by wiping his mouth theatrically.
MAD-EYE Try again, Dung, or I'll pour it down yout thievin' throat myself.
Grumpily, Mundungus complies. Seconds later, his features-- like those of the others--begin to bubble like hot wax. As the transformation completes, seven Harry Potters stand in the tiny kitchen.
Hopefully those parts will be in the full films. And don't get me wrong I loved the clip, I hope I don't sound like I'm complaining lol
"SOOOOOO much wrong with this film already. firstly, that's not the same Fluer Delacour, second the potion is supposed to turn gold and taste nicer coz its Harry and he is pure, and third, THEY NEED TO GET HARRY'SN HAIR FOR THEM TO TURN INTO HIM!!! oh and also, if that bald guy is Mundungus Fletcher he is aaalllll wrrroonnnggg!!! HE HAS A MAIN OF GINGER HAIRRRRR!!! cummon guys sort it out! its the final book! at least get this one right if you cant the other films!"
Someone said: you don't know what an adaptation is,
"I do know what an adaptation is, thank you very much, but Warner Bros seem to screw up Harry Potter! the first two films were pretty much identical to the book as Chris Columbus is a genius! since there has been stupid amount...s of different directors, the film's have gone off course. also, if Peter Jackson can get all 3 LOTR films pretty much spot on, then why can't the directors of HP. Peter Jackson needed to do the Harry Films after Chris Columbus stopped coz they are two of the best directors when it comes to book into film."
These people shouldn't be aloud to watch the films.
"And it's nice to see they were too cheap to apply any effect to the hair. "
Above quote from Swarles, she/he clearly didn't notice that the twins hair start to change to Harry's as they start transforming, it's a lot better than CoS effect.
I don't want to see the actual transformation until the cinema... I'm ok watching before & after, but don't want to see the real thing. In the other hand, can't wait! A great dilema... >_<
It's amazing. Did anyone else love Hermione becoming Harry? Especially Harry with Hermione's hair. That was hilarious.
I love the fact that Mad-Eye walks around the Potters as they gradually transform and as he returns to Harry we've got this wide shot of all 6 of them.
The cinematography is nice. I didn't like this scene as much in the tv spots but here it's very nice. One of the few funny moments in the film, I'm sure it'll be hilarious on the big screen as well.
And it's obviously edited as well. A large portion of the script is missing.
Yes. And it's fantastic. Like I said in my threads about the score, this is the closest we've gotten to a John Williams-esque score since Azkaban, and this clip just proves my point.
The transformation is f'cking hilarious. I can't stop watching the clip. The score is prominent during the transformation. It'll sound even better in the theaters of course.
I really like it. And this was a scene that I didn't really like in the book and I didn't even like the looks of it in the spots and trailers.
Its great, although i do prefer the change of transformation in COS, as it was more realistic and showed how it happened (bubbling) whereas this time it is without reason, just happening with no apparent source!
Yeah, you see them evolving and the camera/effects work is just awesome. It's very detailed and well done. And Desplat's music is the icing on the cake.

Lol, glad WB didn't cut that out from the script!
also some of the scene is cut so we are missing some pieces, but it is great! Can't wait to see the whole thing
