Look. I KNOW! Okay? I know that there is a possibility/almost 100% chance Hedwig's Theme could not be present in the opening! I REALLY KNOW, I UNDERSTAND! IT is the ENDLESS WHINING, COMPLAINING, the childish "breaking tradition, HE MUST PAY" that aggravates me SO MUCH. You have NO IDEA. Just please SHUT UP.
Get it!?
YES!
Snape to Malfoy Manor

Rescuing Hermione
All are good, but the ones above are my favourites.
"Snape to Malfoy Manor", it has such a pleasant and 'complete' sound. It isn't plain ordinary superfacial action, it also contains some real Harry Potter-magic (in the form of carillon and violins).
"Polyjuice Potion", this track's just ... wow. The cue's so sincere and friendly. Really reminded me of John Williams' score for the first three films. Well-placed nostalgia.
"Bathilda Bagshot", by adding the asian flute and let it interact with the eerie violin-play, Desplat makes me both love and fear the sound he gave Bathilda.
"Lovegood", the cheerful and nonchalant sound of middle-eastern stringed instruments and piano ... this is really crafty.
"Farewell to Dobby", mostly because of the strong finale of this track, in the form of a stringed instruments intermezzo. Emotion in a simple and sincere form.
Though I'd really like to see Williams returns for Part II (despite the fact that Desplat would be totally capable of handling the job).
Obliviate The opening percussion hits and droning bass create a very tense tone, the sad French Horn theme is lovely and the accompanying string ostinato adds a bit of tension to the melancholy.
Snape to Malfoy Manor' introduces a darker, faster tone to the score the prominent brass ostinato is suitably threatening along with the accompanying clarinets, choir, flutes and percussion to create a very sinister atmosphere. Excellent new piece for the Death Eaters
Sky Battle It's frantic and intense and showcases some of the most impressive music of the series. The Williams inspired sound gives it a very fantastical feel and 'Hedwig's Theme' is well incorporated. The trills and flourishes really convey a battlefield feel.
Death Eaters the Obliviate theme returns and rises into the sinister Death Eater theme which grows louder and more menacing.
The Locket Incrddiby unsettling. 'Possession' theme is well used here and the ethereal choir at the end adds to the disturbing ambience
Fireplaces Escpe Great action cue, the strings and powerful percussion are very effective. A nice emotional sound section and a very John Williams-esque ending.
Ron Leaves boasts a lush, solo cello which conveys a great emotional punch. There is a real sense of abandonment in this piece and it is simply beautiful. I think it will work wonderful on screen.
'Godric's Hollow's Graveyard' the piano sounds very bitter and the string theme is beautiful and noble while the mandolin decorations add an extra layer of sorrow. A very bewitching track that really masters the emotion.
Bathilda Bagshot' the wood flute gives a menacing tone along with the tense underlying strings and some light, demented sounding percussion adds a very chilling touch to it. Strings speed up with some percussion blasts and the flute gives a very intense shriek as the cue turns into a freighting action piece. It returns to its unnerving status for a brief moment before kicking back into a intense run and ending abruptly.
'Ron's Speech' is breathtaking with some warm strings and the theme from his leaving piece returns in a sad but compassionate style. The piece is lush and very poignant. Some gorgeous orchestral colours.
'Farewell to Dobby' the beautifully tragic cello melody is heart-warming. While not entirely depressing it does have a small glimmer of hope to it. There's a real magic to it and it embodies so much emotion.
