It was a funny ending, but still what i would consider cheesy. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
OotP still my favorite.
What was the end of PoA. Harry with his new broomstick.
OOTP was weird because the first time i saw it i was like oh hell no,it ended already?!? I was shocked. It couldve been better. Ive always wanted an ending with the trio on the train looking at towards hogwarts. They miissed that chance

My ending rankings
GOF - the ship disappearing and carriage flying away is simply beautiful and breathtaking and the trio standing in the wooden walkway, seeing their silhouettes...it is so beautiful.
OOTP - Great ending line.
HBP - Very abrupt, but stunningly beautiful.
SS - Heartwarming.
COS - Heartwarming and cheesy.
POA - I'd prefer a darker ending like Sirius flying away on the hippogriff. I ALWAYS think that would be the perfect ending, and I imagine it ending there, but they have to tie up the loose ends with Lupin and the Firebolt, and that hilarious freeze frame. Ah, Alfonso Curaon, nobody understands you.
Anyone remember how when POA came out everyone hated it? But the critics loved it and now it is one of our favorites?
POA and OOTP are tied for my favorite movie.
I find this more prominent in HBP.
One thing I was disappointed in, was that Harry wasn't angry enough in DD's office after the death of Sirius, and I think the battle at the Ministry should have played out a little longer.
Or, exactly.
HBP, GOF, PS, OOTP, POA, COS.
OotP ends so abruptly.The battle in the Ministry ends, cut to Harry packing, cut to Harry in Dumbledore's office for one minute, cut to Luna and Harry, cut to Train Station.End Credits roll.It just didn't feel right.
PoA was weird.After such a magnificent film Cuaron ends it with a freeze frame?I mean, seriously, I don't want to look at Radcliffe's open mouth for 10-15 seconds.
CoS was cheesy as hell,but for a children movie it was appropriate.
SS's ending was very cute and emotional. I liked it.
GoF had some terrible acting (especially from poor Emma Watson), but the score and visuals were breathtaking.The Ship diving in the lake and the carriage flying in the sky during sunset. Beautiful.
HBP has the best ending. With the exclusion of the random 'Ginny snogging' line, it was the most interesting one.And the cinematography and visuals were brilliant.Fawkes' last flight.
