It is reminiscent of Nazi germany, Umbridge is the Nazi enabler Fraulein with all the big Nazi figure heads! The statue is disturbing.
Its creepy and as Umbridge is my favourite character her smug grin made my day!

They're like 10 BILLION TIMES better than the OotP one. I think the cinematography really makes it seem way more beautiful than in the boring shots in OotP.

Yes, the attack in OOTP was much more physical. As I remember the Dementor grabbed Harry and slammed him into a wall. In Azkaban I don't think the Dementors made any physical contact in their attacks. I think the Dementors having a more primal nature will work well with the content of DH. I do like that creepy shot of them posted above.
I think the black corridors really benefit the CGI and hide any sort of mediocre quality in them, if there is any, which I doubt. They look fantastic!
