I'd rather have a nice good clip. But a TV spot would be cool if it had new footage. And samples would be next. A poster is last only because those aren't required for people to see the movie. With or without a poster, DH will have a 100+ million opening weekend. But a cool poster would help.

It's part 2 I'm worried about. Because you've got TF3, Capt. America and Thor all next summer. I think Capt. America comes out the week after HP7pt.2.
I think a Wed. opening for part 2 would be good. A five day opener would be better compared to three next summer, especially with other big movies so close. But it's also got the benefit of being a summer movie.
the summer of 09 was also particualrly crowded with many antipcated films and yet HBP is the highest grossing (domestic at least it has others but...) HP film since SS/PS (according to wikipedia)
I'm probably taking a day off school for the midnight premiere. My mother said if I go I can't go to school the next day... Weird, but I'm down with that.

Just a heads up, the first official poster for DH was released July 2nd, four days after the first trailer, which would mean, if this same EXACT rate was translated here, we would get another poster tomorrow. But probably they won't do the EXACT same thing, so we should expect one in the coming week(s) or so.

That's nice, Richard. Yesterday I was at the store with my friends and I went and read the chapter titles of Deathly Hallows aloud to them. I read them all semi-dramatic. It was pretty funny. I'm just really trying to get them into it as much as I am!
