Anyone else notice that Trask and Stark are the same 5 letters? Coincidence? I think not.
Also, in the spoiler tag are my complaints about the film:
[spoiler] -The only characters that were really developed were young Charles, young Erik, and Raven/Mystique. I felt that Hank/Beast and Logan/Wolverine were there just because the general public likes them.
-Bolivar Trask had no motive for wanting to capture the mutants. He needed some sort of backstory to propel him to create the Sentinels. Having a flashback of a family member being killed by a mutant, or being betrayed by one, or something, would have helped his arc majorly.
-I really wanted some more time spent in the future. It is a damn shame they cut Rouge's scene, as I think it would have helped that issue. I wanted more Storm, Blink, Bishop, Warpath, etc. Blink was especially one of my new favorites. Bingbing Fan who played her said she signed a 5 film contract, so hopefully that means we will get more of her in the future.
-Finally, would it have been THAT HARD for Bryan Singer to note the fact that Logan/Wolverine lost his adamantium at the end of The Wolverine? In a series filled with continuity errors, that one would not have been hard to correct.
you understand that the film is mostly the sequel to first class don't you ???
Yes. But why would you even bother introducing Blink, Warpath, Bishop, and Sunspot if you aren't going to develop them any? The only important new characters introduced on the past side were Quicksilver and Bolivar Trask. And like I said about Trask, he didn't have any development. And although I loved Evan Peters as Quicksilver, they could have kept him around for a bit more action.
I really hope they introduce my favorite mutant into Apcalypse. Storm I love Halle Berry,s character of her but im not sure she can play her in Apcalypse because of the time line so im hoping they can find someone who is just as awesome to play young storm
I think it's Singer's best film and kind of like Star Trek XI, it reboots the whole franchise to show it into a new direction. But there's still some stuff that weren't cleared.

It has been said in interviews that we are most likely going to see young Storm, Scott, and Jean.
Now Zoe Kravitz would have been a great choice for young Storm, but nope they already used her as a throwaway character in First Class.
Dave Franco would make an excellent young Scott. He looks similar to James Marsden and he can pull off the douchey persona.
I'm trying to think of someone good who would make a great young Jean, but that is proving to be difficult.
If they cast Wanda/Scarlett Witch for Apocalypse, I would love to see her cast as Taissa Farmiga or Emma Roberts since they both have worked with Evan Peters before and have great chemistry with him.
Damn, I wasn't expecting this movie to be so good. Packs a punch in emotional and comical levels like no other X-Men had done before. And the action scenes were the best of the franchise too.
So, for the first time in years, I'm curious for a X-Men sequel.
Quaalude fight: because drunk fight is too mainstream.
Because of the changed timeline and Raven/Mystique's ability to transform into anyone, they could now easily use Jennifer Lawrence in an original cast film instead of Rebecca Romjin. That way we get some original cast action, along with the new mutants like Blink, Bishop, Warpath, and Sunspot, and Fox is happy because they can squeeze more money out of JLaw.
They could have a storyline with Apocalypse in the past, and then another storyline set in the present. Like they think they vanquished him but really he pops up again years later like Voldemort.
Jubilee will be in the next movie, and they actually cast someone Asian! Shocker, since I thought they would have cast Joey King or Chloe Grace-Moretz.
Buying X-Men: Days of Future Past’s The Rouge Cut (which is out now btw) on DVD or Blu ray even if you already have it will go a long way towards showing Fox and other movie studios the potential and benefit in releasing extended cuts and unreleased footage from the movie. Especially if you did not like it, you have an alternate version of the movie that you could end up liking, while those who did like the movie still have the version that they know and love.
