Nice didn't know there's a scene credit! Like really after all the credits or a bit in? Good you mentioned! How did you know there's gonna be something...usually there's none! @kranen
Just the Mockinjgay logo transforming starting from THG logo to the Catching Fire logo to the Mockingjay Part 1 logo and finally revealing the Mockingjay Part 2 Logo
Peeta has just few scenes in the movie, it's like Gale's scenes in the first two films The Hanging Tree scene is just perfect love the editing Johanna is an extra here
I dont know if it was the theater issue i was in but the movie looks so dark and gritty so maybe it was intended for the movie color palette but in some scenes it was way too dark.Sometimes i couldn't even see properly. Maybe I was sitting to low too...we'll see in my second time going watching it if theres still the same issue

It seemed fine to me (and I've seen it twice). Must have been an issue with your theater.
They didn't pulled a WB with the cinematography, it looked just like in the first teaser, without any of that colour correcting crap (notice how different the cinematography of the first two films looked in the trailers and the finished products).

It could be intended, to fit in with the tone and atmospheric feeling of the film and its themes. The film itself is dark and gritty.
Taking out the added scenes, and leaving only the scenes from the book, it's basically one hour and half, and it was the first half of the book. Unlike The Hobbit and Deathly Hallows, the split was taken to improve the book, not slowing it down. Besides that the split point was just where I wanted it, but adding a few things to make it work.
It was weird how my theater only had 2 other people though. When I watched Catching Fire and Hunger Games, it was at the same theater at the same time/day, and it was pretty full. I wonder if people are skipping Part 1 and waiting till Part 2 to watch it...

yeah, exactly what i thought. People waiting for the ending and are not to bother about part 1
Best of the series so far, but definitely should've been made as one final film and then we would've got a pretty solid trilogy right there. I'm not complaining though.
Katniss visiting District 12. District 8 bombing. Propaganda scenes. Snow attacking 13. Rescuing Peeta. Peeta choking Katniss.
All those definitely had to be in the movie and glad they were but all that easily fits in about 45 min. The added stuff was nice but some stuff was slow for the sake of making the movie longer and stretched some of those scenes out.
For example-
Katniss filming the propo, that was long. They took 10-15 min on that alone. Scenes like District 7 and 5 were an awesome addition.
Nope, this isn't the installment that won me over for this franchise. I'll be honest, I think the first one is very flawed and the second one way overrated (which felt like an improved remake including an extended first half of the first one to me). And then, this one came, which I would rate in-between the first two. Some pro's and con's:
Pro's: - Addition of Julianne Moore and Nathalie Dormer. - Score - Direction - Jennifer Lawrence gives her best performance yet - Emotional arc with Peeta
Con's: - Not enough drama (except the one mentioned in the pro's) and action - Cinematography, it's clearly shot digitally and the shaky cam is back - Not enough Hoffman, Dormer, Sutherland and Harrelson - The rebels hating on Peeta (after his first speech on television (stop rebelling) when he's clearly being threatened and forced) felt very dumb - So far, this is a very predictable story after Catching Fire (which is disappointing after Catching Fire's twisty ending). For example, who didn't expect this arc for Peeta? - Liam Hemsworth, always guarantees points off
6/10 (the first one a 5/10 and the second one a 6.5/10)
All I know is that the movie is shorter than the other two and has far more action scenes, so I don't get the negativity. I wish that DH and The Hobbit would've got this kind of split into two movies thing. They didn't cut scenes needed for part, rechanged the split point of both films and recut them, or added subplots cutting scenes from the book.
They brought a huge sense of scope to a rushed book, and improved the story better than what Collins wrote it in first place. I wish that the Harry Potter books would've got this kind of adaptations if a real screenwriter worked with it (which is the reason I'm excited with Fantastic Beasts, because Yates working with Rowling without Kloves it will be amazing).
Lots of YA franchises would wish to get this kind of films.
Honestly this was my favorite out of the three films released thus far. It's bleek, it's enthralling, its paced very well and it hit the tone correctly. Going again on Saturday for date night to see it again : )

The movie as a whole was great as well, but I could see why non-fans wouldn't enjoy it.
