Sounds like they continue acting as the rebels from the "rescue" until they start the trials, and Janson is one of them. But the stuff about the "Harvest" and sedating the Gladers is weird.
Makes me worried if The Scorch Trials script is going to have similar problems seeing as they seem to be hastily trying to finish it now with the same screenwriter. It would be nice if they could bring someone else in with more experience just to look over it and fix it up if it too is weak.
That's 2 fairly positive reviews from very well respected sources while the negatives ones have come from lesser known sources. Good to see no embargo either.
Just saw it earlier tonight, and as someone who hasn't read the books, I loved it. I'm definitely making reading the series a priority now. Kept me interested the entire time and it was very suspenseful.
I'm getting the sense that the majority of the reviews point out some serious flaws that don't salvage the quality of this film but a lot still seem to think that despite the flaws, there's something good here that has real potential which many YA adaptions have failed at in the recent past.
I just happened to stumble upon an advanced screening and thought 'What the hell, I've got nothing better to do'. Hopefully it's easier to get into than I found the book.
Well if there turns out to be two parts for The Death Cure, we'll know it was Fox's decision in order to milk money out of the franchise. TDC can easily be done in a good two and half hour film in my opinion.
Okay so FINALLY, I have seen it and I was really impressed. I don't know what else to add right now. Still getting over the fact that I've finally seen it.

Maybe if the epilogue bit was shown as a after-credit scene, it would have been received a bit better.
