I can't stop going on about how much I love Wes and his mindset on this whole project. He's very aware of every aspect of the story takes many things into consideration while making it. It just seems like he had a very clear vision of what he ought to achieve from this.
Yeah I think it was over in America. Still yet to see it on the big screen over here
Also, here's a cool little podcast interview with Wes if anyone is interested where he talks about the film. Just listening to it now and he's saying how the last shot of the movie is the most expensive shot of the film. Hmmm
:O I just realized that I wasn't here when the trailer came out :P
My opinion on it: For a low budget production, it looks huge. So far, I loved the design choices and the art direction seems to be very solid. Still, I am really worried with the script. One of the biggest and only flaws of the books is the dialogue. Not very well developed and maybe too self-explanatory. I know that the trailer is supposed to provide a synopsis but the dialogue and some lines...
"I think it is time we find out what we are really up against" "Everything started changing the moment you showed up" "- Why are we different? - What if we were sent here for a reason?" "You are not like the others. You are curious."
Not impressed. And maybe it is too early, but I was a bit bothered with the acting. Too mechanical. Can't wait for the other trailer, though.
So great to see you back Rick. I constantly wondered what your thoughts were on everything that was happening with this, especially when the trailer hit. It's good to hear your opinions finally.

This means the rumor I heard about the 2nd trailer being attached to Guardians of the Galaxy were true...
Hope you like it!
