Harry Potter Ultimate Editions box set

I read this in an article (link found on cosforums):

I read this "He predicted that by the time the final Potter film finishes its run, the franchise will have brought in $7.5 billion in worldwide box office, cementing its place as the most popular film franchise in history.

Then he told the analysts to start saving their money for the greatest DVD gift set of all time, though he didn't detail what is in store."

I can't wait for this set. I hope that it will include collectibles(like the marauders map) and a bonus disc exclusive to the set. But i'm afraid that it won't have exaxtly the same boxsets(with the sleeve, hard box, etc...).

Wha do you people think about it?

I also own the first 2 but i am going to sell them to my niece. If i were you, i would do the same thing, don't buy the next 6 seperate and buy the full collection.

Extended Editions, loads of documentaries on the making of the movies, bloopers.....anything and everything they can fit in!

well there not out yet 3 and 4 come out in october. and I DONT THINK FUTURE INSTALLMENTS WILL HAVE EXTENDED CUTS

But if they can resell them they might do it. It is true though to add the cut scenes into the film they have to finish the CGI on the shots.

I have all DVDs. But my POA and OOTP versions skip, so I don't watch them much. I have two-disc versions of every DVD but I'd love a complete full set of Ultimate Editions or any other sort of extended, special deluxe edition.

I am also waiting for all 8 movies to come out and to see what the "Ultimate Super Box Set" has to offfer before I buy any of them. Unless OoTP is 45 minutes longer, lol. I don't think I'll be able to wait any longer for that specific film.

I actually have never seen an extended cut of the films. I have seen the deleted scenes, but not when they were cut into the film.

That is good. I am not usually a fan of extended editions of films because usually the scenes that are cut don't fit in. I have liked a lot of the scenes i have seen that were cut so i don't think that will be as much of a problem for HP.
