In the explosive finale to the Arkham series, Batman faces the ultimate threat against the city he is sworn to protect. The Scarecrow returns to unite an impressive roster of super villains, including Penguin, Two-Face and Harley Quinn, to destroy The Dark Knight forever.
Batman: Arkham Knight introduces Rocksteady's uniquely designed version of the Batmobile, which is drivable for the first time in the franchise. The addition of this legendary vehicle, combined with the acclaimed gameplay of the Batman Arkham series, offers gamers the ultimate and complete Batman experience as they tear through the streets and soar across the skyline of the entirety of Gotham City.
After watching that trailer I can only say "holy shit".
There's a rumor floating around that the Justice League will make an appearance possibly setting up their future games. That would be really cool if true.
"If you make yourself more than just a man... If you devote yourself to an ideal... You become something else entirely- A Legend."
At the end of the game I mean, the story will be purely Batman focused.
I wonder if Harley is still going to be hell bent on revenge at Batman for The Joker's death? I can't see her working for Dent without betraying them all in the end somehow....
"If you make yourself more than just a man... If you devote yourself to an ideal... You become something else entirely- A Legend."
Screen Gems will distribute the live action film The Last of Us based on the critically-acclaimed PlayStation®3 exclusive video game, developed by Naughty Dog. Neil Druckmann, the Creative Director for the game, will also write the script for the film. On behalf of Naughty Dog, the project will be produced by Co-Presidents’ Evan Wells and Christophe Balestra, as well as Creative Director Neil Druckmann and Game Director Bruce Straley, along with Sam Raimi via their Ghost House Pictures banner.
Clint Culpepper, Screen Gems’ President, stated, “Screen Gems’ Brian Dukes and Eric Ling brought this game to my attention insisting we go after it. When I saw the quality of the storytelling, I knew the audience for this project was far greater than just the gaming community and that Neil Druckmann must write the screenplay. I am thrilled that SCEA’s Riley Russell was able to get me in front of Neil and Evan Wells to plead my case. And Sam and his team at Ghost House round out the perfect team to help realize Neil’s vision.”
“Our partnership with Sam Raimi, Ghost House Pictures, and Screen Gems to develop a film based on The Last of Us universe is a perfect fit,” said Evan Wells, Naughty Dog’s Co-President. “Since our game released last June, we’ve talked with many companies about making a film, but we couldn’t have found better partners who share our creative vision and high standards. We look forward to collaborating with Sam, his team, and Screen Gems, to make a movie that will thrill fans of The Last of Us and general audiences worldwide.”
The rich and visceral story of The Last of Us, which was released in June of 2013, follows hardened survivor, Joel, and Ellie, a young and capable girl, on their journey through a radically transformed world. Set twenty years after an infectious pandemic spread by the cordyceps virus ravaged the course of humanity, these two people, who were brought together by chance, must make life-altering decisions in order to survive. The Last of Us explores themes of survival, loyalty, love, and redemption in an emotionally charged expedition across a post-epidemic United States.
The Last of Us has received worldwide recognition for its innovation in storytelling and gameplay, garnering over 200 global Game of the Year awards from notable outlets such as USA Today, E! Online, Yahoo!, and IGN. The post-apocalyptic video game also took home 10 wins at this year’s Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences D.I.C.E. Awards – including Game of the Year, Outstanding Innovation in Gaming and Character Performance. Additionally, The Last of Us also won a Writers Guild of America award for “Outstanding Achievement in Writing for Video Games” and leads nominations for the British Academy of Film and Television Video Game (BAFTA) Awards with 10.
In addition to The Last of Us, Naughty Dog recently released their first-ever story expansion, The Last of Us: Left Behind, a prologue to the game’s single player campaign available exclusively for the PS3™ system.
I got the collector's edition of Dark Souls 2 with the foot tall knight statue. It's awesome.
In other news, the ending to MGSV: Ground Zeroes has leaked.
This game along with Phantom Pain will probably be the most mature, heart wrenching, violent video game in history.
SPOILERS - DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVE INTENTIONS OF PLAYING.
Proof? In Ground Zeroes a 13 year old boy is captured and forced to rape the 21 year old girl he was trying to rescue. Big Boss rescues them and has to cut a bomb out of the girl's stomach. They set of for MSF, Big Boss's private military base free from any nation or ideology. After arriving home to see his military base destroyed and his comrades being brutally shot down he attempts to get away via helicopter.
There was a second bomb.. In the girl's vagina. She throws herself out of the helicopter and explodes. Big Boss's copter slams into another and we fade to black. To be continued.

Ground Zeroes is certainly only a preview of what is to come hopefully in 2015. Kojima has said that The Phantom Pain is over 200 times bigger than Ground Zeroes, and is worried that it will be too big for players to clear. It features the return of Metal Gear Online. Metal Gear Solid V is terrific value for money.
So I just finished a four hour session of Titanfall.
Overall, it is excellent so far! The campaign is basically a marathon of your basic multiplayer matches with a nice little story along with it. There is two halves of the campaign -- you play both sides warring against each other in each half. The first half you are one side, the next half you're their opposition facing who you just played as. I've played one half so far, and it took about three hours or so.
I love the gameplay. Most of it is your basic FPS gameplay with added parkour, wall-running and super jumping. And then there is the Titans, which are fun to play as and really difficult when it is the Titans you are facing! Some of the guns I've unlocked so far are really awesome, especially the smart pistol which can target multiple enemies at once.
My only complaints are this: 1) the wait between matches. 90 seconds in between match, is slightly ridiculous, and it seems like forever. After putting together what I need for the following match, there is usually still a little less than a minute to wait. And 2) the servers are a little icky right now. I had multiple disconnections, which is annoying when you're doing pretty good in the match. Hopefully the latter will be fixed soon.
Overall, as I said, an excellent game! The campaign is pretty nice, albeit a bit short, but mostly it is a classic multiplayer game, which is fine for an online FPS gameplay.
Grr... having issues with my Xbox One profile. I used my brother's extra e-mail with his permission when I originally signed up, and it shows his name instead of mine on the Xbox one, even though mine is on my profile.
