FLICKS his WAND, the AIR PRICKLING with DISTURBANCE as he
SUMMONS a SHIELD of AIR insulating himself from attack.
As he sweeps forward, he responds with a DEVASTATING
SERIES of SPELLS and the Entrance Hall QUAKES. Harry
turns and dashes...

This sounds so badass!

Actually the whole battle at the end has so much more

Especially between Harry and Voldemort, wow!

dazed brethren, taking an agitated glance over his
shoulder as he hurries on before turning back round...
... and coming to a dead halt before a Death Eater, who
raises his wand and points it directly between Griphook’s
eyes.

Oliver throws Nigel over his shoulder, enters the Great
Hall. Neville watches them go, looking, for a moment,
very old. Then, wearily, he turns, heading back outside.

EXT. HOGWARTS - GROUNDS - NIGHT (MOMENTS LATER) 330

In the distance, SHADOWS collect the dead, too occupied
with their grim task to notice Harry. He stares straight
ahead, just walking, until a VOICE tugs his ear:

GINNY
It’s all right. We’re going to
get you inside.

Ginny crouches over the tiny Ravenclaw girl, who is
CRYING.

YOUNG GIRL
I kept calling. No one came.

GINNY
Don’t worry. I won’t leave you.
I promise.

Ginny strokes the sobbing girl’s hair, her own face
haunted by sorrow. Harry studies her, moved, then
continues on. A moment later, Ginny turns, looks to the
place where he was standing... but finds only darkness.

I still haven't properly read it (I'm moving houses so I honestly haven't had time), but I did just skim through the whole PS script looking for the word 'Peeves' (seeing as it's a photocopy, I can't just search it). This is the two scenes just I found. There could be others that I missed:

One of my biggest disappointments about DH 2 was the lack of spectacular magic during the climax. Harry and Voldemort merely used generic spells we've seen a thousand times before, and Priori Incantatem was overused. It had nothing on the duel between Dumbledore and Voldemort. It's understandable in a way because DD and V were the most gifted wizards the world had seen, but the lack of creativity was disappointing nevertheless.

We know that these scenes we're filmed. Looks like in post-production the studio or the producers decided to butcher the film, like if it wasn't enough with the missing scenes on Part 1. This wouldn't have happened if they wouldn't have shot the films back-to-back. By changing the split point, they made a mess with the two movies, cutting like 40, 45 minutes of scenes.

Now we know that Kloves cannot be blamed for the faults of the last movie. It's still brilliant in many ways, but Yates is both responsible for what's exceptionally great and what's lacking.

If you take into account how long are the scripts of both parts, it totally matches what Mark Day said about both films being 140 minutes long.

And it looks like some of these changes we're done very late in post-production.

Almost the whole cue is missing on the movie, because Desplat scored the deleted scene with Harry going to the forest, and watching Oliver carrying Nigel, and Ginny comforting a student.

I can't believe they cut that. It would have been a strong reminder of what Harry is fighting for, who he is dying for.

And what's worst is that Desplat used the emotional B phrase of the Obliviate theme (the one which is used in At The Burrow, Ron Leaves, and Farewell To Dobby), which it would have made the scene even better.

The worst thing about this is that we'll probably never see the cut footage. I just hope that when Harry Potter is eventually rebooted we'll see something more akin to a worthwhile original script.

Also, if you notice Harry and Voldemort's final battle in the script was divided. They made it look like it they fight, Neville kills Nagini, they stop, the fight continues, and Voldemort dies.

Really there is a lot of wasted potential here. They butchered Kloves' beautifully written King's Cross scene and Voldemort's speech (which made Kloves' following dialogue seem out of place). Kloves handed Yates some pretty darn fantastic and spectacular fighting material between Voldemort and Harry which was thrown out the window.

Or at least it wasn't shown in the film. But really, if they would have made both parts separated, the result it would have been better. Given what the script of both parts showed, the films had a better flow.

Read the entire script, Im totally pissed at everyone at WB, that includes Heyman and Yates. We finally know where the Elder Wand scene goes and that Voldy's speech could have been better.

DH2 could have been a lot better in regards to character development, but it clearly suffered from having arrogant, wasteful people at the helm. Essential elements were either condensed or dropped completely, while important deaths were cliched with pointless 3D shots. The opportunity to give Harry Potter the righteous sendoff that it deserved was shown to be less important than having more showings, meaning more money. I remember taking one look at the length of the final film thinking someone has had a go at this, and as it turns out, someone well and truly had.
