Gaaah. Why do I have the most unpopular opinions sometimes? lol
I ABSURDLY loved the 7th episode. It is probably my favorite so far. So good to see character development instead of clogged multi-plotting. When the show focus on Norman, it only gets better. It was sooo good.
Hey guys! Just seen the 6th episode! Wow... Everything wrapped up. But... well... Why were you guys so surprised? Anyone who has seen Psycho should expect that. I was waiting for that since the beginning of the season. I thought it was how the season was going to end. But yeah...
There's nothing shocking or surprising. At least for someone who has seen Psycho and knows the story (even then... I think that since the first episode it was pretty much implied what exactly happened to his father)

Just watched Episode 6! Holy hell, what an episode! Definitely season-finale quality. That ending... wow, I totally did not see that coming! Best episode so far!
Technically, I am a person, not "people". In my defense I have never seen all of Psycho, only some scenes. I watched this show going into it without any knowledge of the movie or the story behind it. So yes, that twist shocked me.
Well... Do you know the meaning of the word Psycho? It might give some hints already Yeah, sorry. I didn't know that you haven't watched Psycho. I would assume that someone who is watching the show would be familiar with the movie plotline. I'm sorry.
The first TV series that I watched the whole season. It was good. Some mixed feelings, I won't lie. But overall, I had a lot of fun. In my opinion, the best thing of the series is Norman - and his relationship with Norma - plotline. I don't know if I will sound fair as it is something inherent to TV series, but every time that an episode deviated from Norman with multi-plotting, I just saw myself slowly losing interest. I'm glad that the series ended how it did, as I hope that the focus of the second season will be Norman. Anyways, Vera Farmiga and Freddie Highmore are just brilliant.
Glad you finished your first TV series. TV series are so much better than movies.
That's like comparing apples and oranges, but personally I prefer films. I'm not saying the film format is better than TV, but generally speaking I find that more films than TV-series have a stronger visual identity of their own.
Indeed: More time. What's the relevance though? Why does screentime determine what's superior? Screentime says nothing about how effective and engaging the storytelling is or how vivid and interesting the characters are. If anything, doesn't developing characters over a short period of time require more talent on the behalf of the screenwriter than when you are given 5-10 hours to do so? The two formats have completely different premises for storytelling, which makes it unfair to compare, but good, effective storytelling is what both should be striving for.

I feel offended and I never heard such a thing before
