Hey guys! So I know at least a couple people on the forum have read the Gone series by Michael Grant, and I don't think we have a thread for it, or at least I haven't seen one, so yeah-I'm making one! Here you can talk about everything related to the Gone series and other books by Michael Grant, and other random stuff if you feel like it
Here's a summary of the first book:
In the blink of an eye, everyone disappears. Gone. Except for the young.
Teens. Middle Schoolers. Toddlers. But not a single adult. No teachers, no cops, no doctors, no parents. Gone, too, are the phones, internet, and television. There is no way to get help.
Hunger threaten. Bullies rule. A sinister creature lurks. Animals are mutating. And the teens themselves are changing, developing new talents-unimaginable, dangerous, deadly powers-that grow stronger by the day.
It's a terrifying new world. Sides are being chosen and the war is imminent.
The first in a breathtaking saga about teens battling each other and themselves, GONE is a page-turning thriller that will make you look at the world in a whole new way.
The Gone Series:

Enjoy

Amazing series. The one that grows on you every book you read and ends up with a fantastic conclusion. Love the Gone series

(2 of 4) ... It means we have one hell of a good shot at a series. @SPTV is responsible for the great BREAKING BAD. Also involved w/ LOST.

(3 of 4) We have all wanted this. I promise you I'll stay involved and if we get a series it will be something you're proud of.

(4 of 4) I hope you'll show your appreciation by following @SPTV. Let them know you're out there. Fingers crossed people. Michael Grant.
I loved it. The best ending that I could ask for.
I'll be picking the first book up next time I'm at Borders.
Hope you like it!
I'm so excited about this. You guys have no idea.
For me, The Maze Runner and Gone are the best contemporary YA series. Just great. Can't wait to see THE FAYZ \o/

As I wrote before, it is a very bizarre universe where anything can happen. I still don't find the first book a great one, but was good enough to keep me reading and wow... It was such a thrill ride and I don't regret
