Did you guys notice that the shape of Hogwarts can be seen behind the Patronus? I'm not sure I like the shape he decided to give the castle but I'll wait and see if it appears more clearly on another cover.
Hogwarts seems so random to have up there seeing as there is no hill or anything going up to it. It's just sort of floating there. And now that you mention it, that's the only thing I can see. Not sure if I like this cover anymore...

I'm loving all five of the covers that have been released so far. It feels like the artist has really tried to capture the biggest awe-inspiring and nostalgic, emotion-inducing moments--the first walk through Diagon Alley; the warm, cozy first landing at the Burrow; the shockingly powerful stag Patronus; Harry takes flight in his first adventure of the Triwizard Tournament; and now, Harry and friends fly over their castle as they rush to save Sirius. I really like the "concentration" of these pieces.
And, commenting on Hogwarts, I think it's awesome that the artist is adding their own little twist. It shows that Rowling's world truly is a shared vision, one where everyone can add their own little details onto the imagination of the grand world that she created. The Asian-inspired castle that we're seeing is obviously the influence of the artist's culture, and I love that it's coming out in the work. It's not like it's definitive or anything. Besides, Mary Grandpre's first drawing of Hogwarts wasn't exactly how anyone pictured it either:

very true and it looks like she took a lot of influence from the films in her later drawings too
Yeah, totally. Honestly, I love these new posters because art is something that I've always been a huge fan of in the Potter world. Anything from the illustrator's visions to the concept art in the films, visualizing Rowling's world always brings it one step closer to tangibility and it's astonishing to see that world come alive, no matter who the artist is. Now that we've gotten books like HP Film Wizardry and Page to Screen, I wish someone would release a definitive collection of artwork from Mary Grandpre and all of Rowling's other, international illustrators. I'm sure Grandpre has hundreds of drawings that she has stored away.

It looks amazing! I love it. The Horntail looks really weird, but everything else is great.

Hogwarts does look a bit different, but it must be okay with JK, doesn't she have to approve the new covers.
