How close to the book do you think HBP will be?
I have serious doubts about this matter! Although i believe that most of the dialogues will be verbatim from the book (as in the 5th movie) i think that the script will be cut to their needs! I mean that i dont have any problem if the cut any short parts but it makes me crazy to make a new story based on some parts of the book I want to believe that the movie will be as close as possible to the book although the will never be the same!

Surprisingly little has been cut. The Gaunts are cut, but not completely cause we will still hear their story, Hepzibah's cut, but again, we will hear the story. Bill and Fleur are cut, though there is a teeny possibilty we might hear about them, Myrtle's cut, Vernon's cut...I can't really think of much else.
The delay means nothing for the quality of HBP. They aren't spending any more time on it than they ewre oringinally planning to, they still have to stick to the original deadlines because they've already assured us that they will start filming DH in February, and there's a LOT of preperation work for that filming that they've got to do.
They don't really care. They claim to have seen the film and they called it 'fabulous'. Really? I hope so.
BUT, with all the hype and promotion, the film is going to be their big blockbuster in 2009. Even if the film is crap, oh boy, it'll make 200M$ in the US and another bunch of 500M$ internationally FOR SURE. So, they have 700M$...now, of course it can make even more but it's definite to make 700M$.So they will have a big income.
I'm sure they'll handle it just as the book handled it.The film is called the Half-Blood Prince. We know they've got plenty of Snape. Trust me, they won't just ignore the book, there will be a pretty big focus on it. It think. Considering the photos we've seen of Harry carrying it around with him.
