The movie was fun and a lot of things we dont going to expect! I felt the beginning is a little slow but maybe its because I was to excited for the action to begin :P And the ending was just awesome and action packed! Just a little disappointed that they used Hulkbusters suit just for one stupid thing lol (if thats the correct name )
The fact that I knew there was a twist plus the opening sequence to Guy Pearce hints out hes a major character meaning you know what lol. I put the pieces together lol.
The box office forum is on fire right now, I love it haha
DC vs Marvel is in full force...
I know alot of you guys hate fan wars but its a beautiful thing in the box office world and it appears as if Deathly Hallows Part 2 will retain its crown as the second biggest unadjusted opener ever. Potter survives a big hit... For now.
"If you make yourself more than just a man... If you devote yourself to an ideal... You become something else entirely- A Legend."

@Richard You put the piece for this but not for Talia in DKR when its was so much more obvious? :P You told me that Talia twist was so unexpected to you haha :P But this one was way more easy...make sense haha
I'd give it a 6/10 it was pretty predictable and did anyone else think the whole Mandarin thing was too much like batman begins? I was disappointed lol
It's not an uncommon twist, it's actually present in quite a few films--Batman Begins did it long before IM3.
That's how I felt about it. IM3 pretty much was the same as Batman Begins villian wise however IM3 took a comedic route turning Ben Kingsley into a boufoon. That was something I hated and pepper's fall was so obvious that she wasn't dead. The whole movie to me was predictable lol
BOX OFFICE: IRON MAN 3 Looks Set For $60+ Million Friday And $150+ Million Weekend
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Iron Man 3 looks set to bring in an incredible $60 million at the North American box office today. As of right now, the Shane Black helmed threequel is on track for a weekend of $150 million or more after taking over $345 million overseas. This means that the movie will have more than likely grossed well over $600 - $650 million by close of business on Sunday. Last year, Marvel's The Avengers made $80.8 million on its opening day and went on to become the highest grossing film of 2012. Back in 2010, Iron Man 2 earned $51.2 million on Friday and went on to make $128.1 million during its first weekend. Meanwhile, Deadline reports that the threequel will actually bring in between $63 - $71 million today and $174 million for the first domestic weekend.
" Essentially it could take second place behind the opening of last year's Marvel's The Avengers which holds the record with $207.4 million but more likely it will take third place behind Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, which held the opening record for ten months with $169.2 million."
IRON MAN 3 Officially Crosses $400 Million Worldwide
The third film in the Iron Man franchise has kicked off with a bang, thanks to an intense marketing campaign by Disney, Marvel's Iron Man 3 has become the third film to cross $400 million this year.
Iron Man 3 is currently the third highest grossing film of 2013 and at this rate is set to become the highest grossing Marvel solo film. With a Friday opening of $68.5 million, Iron Man 3 is expected to round the weekend off with over $160 million in total. Iron Man 3 has currently made $413.4 million worldwide and is expected to make $650 million by next Thursday. Iron Man 3 has already made back it's massive $200 million budget in under two days.
We're on a Harry Potter forum, and more specifically, the Harry Potter Forum. Just as Adri says, and I agree completely, it doesn't matter how much money another film makes; it will always be number one!
IRON MAN 3 Takes $64 Million On Saturday; Second Highest Opening Of All-Time
After taking $68.3 million on Friday, Deadline reports that Iron Man 3 went on to earn an additional $64 million yesterday, giving it a current domestic total of over $130 million. That's a drop of only 6% and with another predicted drop of 20% today (Sunday), it's thought that it will eventually go on to have an opening weekend of $171 million - $175 million. This means that the Marvel Studios threequel now holds the honour of being the second biggest three-day opening weekend of all-time, with only The Avengers (which took $207.4 million last year) standing in its way of reaching #1. With an 'A' CinemaScore from moviegoers - perhaps proving that it's only really a very SMALL number of fans who have a problem with the much talked about twist - Iron Man 3 is well on its way to hitting $650 million by close of business today. As of right now, the international cume for the movie stands at $520.6 million and it has surpassed the total box office of all previous Marvel Studios solo films in just TEN days.
BOX OFFICE: IRON MAN 3 Finishes Weekend With A Mighty $174 Million
Iron Man 3 didn't end up exceeding expectations at the North American box office this past weekend, but it most certainly finished exactly where most were expecting it to. While early estimates had it pegged as grossing a three day total of $175 million, it finished just shy of that with $174.1 million ($174,144,585 million to be exact). Not a bad result by any means, especially as that figure gives it the honour of having the second highest opening of all-time! Meanwhile, Studio System News obtained the following statement from IMAX in regards to how pleased they were with Iron Man 3's performance on their screens over the course of this weekend.
"Thanks to Iron Man 3, this weekend is a global IMAX record, as we’ll generate nearly $30 mil from one movie for the first time in our company’s 46 year history ($16.5 mil domestically and $13 mil internationally). The global cume for Iron Man 3 in IMAX is estimated to be $40.2 mil as of Sunday evening.
Domestically, IM3 delivered $16.5 mil on 326 screens for a fantastic per screen average of $50,600 (remember, we’re a single screen business). Our biggest issue: the vast majority of our shows were sold out. This is the the 2nd best domestic opening in IMAX history.
Internationally, Iron Man 3′s IMAX results produced numerous records, generating approximately $13 mil this weekend on 267 IMAX screens for an outstanding per screen average of almost $50k. Again, sell out shows everywhere! This is all the more encouraging considering over 100 of the screens were on their second weekend of the film, confirming Iron Man 3′s word of mouth is strong.
There were record smashing IMAX openings in key territories, including China ($63k per screen), Russia ($72k per screen) and Ukraine ($46k per screen)."
While it's still early days, some analysts are even taking a guess at how much they believe Iron Man 3 will ultimately end up grossing worldwide. $1.3 billion is currently the most popular answer.
BOX OFFICE: IRON MAN 3 Set To Hit $900 Million Worldwide By Tomorrow
As of yesterday, Iron Man 3 had taken over $204 million at the North America box office. Today, it is being reported that its current international cume of $581.6 million has taken its worldwide total to an amazing $794 million. It will pass $800 million today and $900 million by tomorrow. This means that a final box office gross of over $1 billion is now guaranteed!
