ABC to air 2 Potter movies this weekend

The regular ABC channel (not ABC Family) will be showing Goblet of Fire and Order of the Phoenix this weekend. These won't be the extended versions though

.

Saturday - 12/29 ~~ Goblet of Fire - 8-11 pm (Eastern time)
Sunday - 12/30 ~~ Order of the Phoenix - 8-11 pm

ABC Family probably only gets the privileges to show the extended versions, which is weird, since they're the same company...

The first time I ever saw GoF was a few years ago on ABC, so back then I had no idea what had been edited. These are the moments which were missing from tonight's broadcast:

1. Fred and George turning into old men
2. Ron's "Piss off" to Harry
3. A line of Rita Skeeter's interview of Harry
4. Fred and George's "Babbling, bumbling band of baboons"
5. Fred asking Angelina to the Yule Ball
6. Hagrid and Madame Maxime convo
7. Neville asking Harry if he's okay as he wakes up from another dream
8. Myrtle leaning on Harry in the prefects' bath

From what I recall when ABC first aired OotP back in Feb 2010, there wasn't anything cut from it. I'm hoping it remains that way.

I bet they won't cut any, OotP is shorter than GoF and ABC Family usually runs it in 3 hours with the deleted scenes put back in. Was it just me, or did it seem like GOF had commercials every 15 minutes :-S

Been watching OOTP on ABC. No deleted scenes just commercials every 10 minutes.

I thought the commercial breaks were, for what it's worth, well-placed and I'm glad that there weren't any from the time Harry and the others arrived at the Ministry to when they showed the Daily Prophet montage.

I noticed they had one where ABCF always has one...right after Sirius winks at Harry when he said he wants to fight. Did you ever notice that Sirius's tattoos seem to be gone or really faded...I wonder if that's what happens after you've been out of Azkaban for a while. It was nice to see that they didn't butcher this one

I wonder how much Newell paid them to omit these bad moments from the film
