I don't how you guys can watch stuff online... I have to buy the DVD of my favorite films just out of habit, to collect them. And I don't like watching something unless its good quality or else I have a hard time immersing myself like I should.
"If you make yourself more than just a man... If you devote yourself to an ideal... You become something else entirely- A Legend."
I've got two TDKR posters in my room- Soundtrack- Bane standee about 7 foot tall in the corner of my room looking at me while I go to sleep- Complete Screenplay- Novelization- 3 T-Shirts-
Those are my TDKR artifacts lol

The BD rips look better than DVD.

So Crucify the ego, before it's far too late, to leave behind this place so negative and blind and cynical. And you will come to find that we are all one mind, capable of all that's imagined and all conceivable.
I hope that when I rewatch TDKR on the new TV I'm getting in January that I will appreciate it more. There were some things I liked about it, I don't think I'll ever like the in your face ending, but it was pretty solid nonetheless. I don't like to say "oh I had some problems with this movie so it's a gargantuan pile of shit" but I do like to at least acknowledge those criticisms so I can get them out there and try to get over them.
Haven't downloaded the rip yet, I'm contemplating waiting for the blu-ray because it's going to look so much better on an HDTV then on my computer screen (I can only play up to 720p too, so that's another disadvantage.)
But here are some cool gifs made from the recent rip:
Well...I got home late tonight and find that WB finally sent my prizes from a contest and I got a bunch of random shirts, keychains and shizz and then three giant tubes...They told me these posters would be 11"x17" not 48"x70" lmao They are taller than me! -_-
I saw this again yesterday at the dollar theater in my area. The only flaws I have with it are trivial matters like the behavior of the police. Other than that, it doesn't feel too long, too short, too convoluted, etc. It's easily the best movie in the trilogy, followed by Begins. The Blu-ray is going to sound phenomenal. I'm not sure it will look good, though, given the Begins and TDK Blu-rays.

Let's hope not. I do have a blu-ray rip and, thank god, it hasn't had all color and saturation drained of it like they did to TDK.
The color scheme sure is horrible, though. They all look like they have liver disease. There's too much yellow.

-Lincoln -Argo -Life of Pi -Les Miserables -Silver Linings Playbook -Hitchcock (currently has mixed reviews to my large surprise though) -The Master
Now, TDKR wouldn't be up against any of those, they'd be fighting for that epic/blockbuster spot, but if that spot gets filled, it'll The Hobbit or Skyfall.
It has a big chance against Skyfall. The Hobbit? Not so much.
Lord Stafford.
I see it the other way around. It has a chance against Hobbit because from everything I've seen, Hobbit < Lord of the Rings. Skyfall on the other hand was just top notch all around.
That's my opinion though, not the old farts over at the Academy. Truthfully, I'll be SHOCKED if Lincoln doesn't win because over half the voters probably personally knew him.
Lincoln has a good shot in BP, Actor, Director, Supporting Actor, and Actress. Ben Affleck, Helen Mirren, and Hopkins are the only challenges I see as of now.
Zimmer might get nominated due to the goodwill he's built with the Academy, Nolan I think will get nominated if his next film is another critical success... They just won't ever nominate a comic book film no matter how serious it is.

Call it a coping mechanism.
