Fell in love with harry potter when i was 5... I saw the first film before i read the books, but that's when the obsession began! My mum and elder sister were going to watch it in the cinema, and I (at the last second), decided I wanted to go too (not knowing either what film we were going to see; nor how dramatically this event would change my life forever). My sister tried to convince me not to go, as I would be 'scared' by the ghosts. How glad I am I ignored that! Over two thirds of my life have henceforth been devoted to this wonderful story.
It was my partner who recently suggested i find a harry potter forum to go on (since i never stop talking about it) and i realised what a great idea that would be. Yes i am as sad as i sound... but it's what I love so who cares?!
@rustybones i sound 'euro'? I'm English! :P Yes... I say partner because 'boyfriend' always sounds so primary school to me. lol :P in fact it is our 2 year anniversary in a few days time! ^^ What specifically are you intrigued about though?? (Though I suppose you might not be now.... now you know I'm not 'euro' :P)
You are still Euro, you just refuse to change from pound sterling. I was intrigued because here in America, "partner" is more commonly used in relation to the gay and lesbian society. I was thinking about Harry Potter lesbians is all.
@Samch92 ok! I remembered my question. I don't know if you've read The Tales of Beetle the Bard but I have. In there it explains about transfiguration and mentions that when wizards transfigure themselves to an animal, they are in the mind of that animal and someone will have to transfer them back. Now, my question is, in the 4th book Krum transfigured himself halfway into a shark and was able to rescue Hermione and still manage not to act on shark instincts. How did this happen? Is he being granted his human mind because he performed a poor transfiguration and wasn't fully a shark? It doesn't seem fair.
I think that you can only edit your previous post for a period of time. That was not really me, I was kidding. I wish I was as on point as that Asian Harry Potter.
Post it here and ask one of the mods to make the adjustments if you really want to remove it. I usually go to Rich with this type of stuff. He must have like a map to the internet or something bc dudes and internet wizard.
Hi my name is Duaa; and I am from the Sultanate of Oman (Middle East).. I am an Engineering student (1st year)
Have been an hp fan for a few years now,, and my 3 year old brother is in love with sorcerer's stone. In the middle east women wear fashionable abayas (just like the cloaks in hp), so i made two of mine to represent Gryffindor and Slytherin,, and i constantly wear them for college pretending that i was in Hogwarts :P..
I like the different personalities in HPF,, hopefully i will fit in with the rest...I might not post in the next few days coz i have mid-terms coming up, so be patient with me

Hello! My name's Kacie I'm from the USA. I'm a huge Taylor Swift/ Friends/ Harry Potter fan. I've been a Harry Potter fan for quite a few years now and haven't really had anyone to talk with about Harry Potter, which is why I joined this site. You people are so nice here! Really cool site, by the way.

I mixed up threads with the blood sausage: http://harrypotterforum.com/discussion/11373/omg-why-did-i-watch-that#latest

Lord Stafford.
@K3choclate: Did you end up wearing your Hogwarts uniform?
Nope. That was me. Kinda hurt now, but that's cool. Not everyone is into the Harry look. Dreams have been crushed.
And do I have to ask someone to delete it for me now??
