Oh jesus, wow just wow. This exudes old fashioned fantasy in every sense of the word. Very reminiscent of that first captivating 2001 journey that captured our imagination (FOTR). I literally cannot wait. Absolutely brilliant. The production design looks stunning.

Oh, thank god. WB almost fucked the UK over once more. It was rumoured that The Hobbit had been pushed backed to the 26th of December, Boxing Day. It was almost confirmed as definite, until it was finally confirmed as false.

Australia only gets it on the 26th of December meaning I'll see it almost 2 weeks later than most of you guys. :(

Here the movie was supposed to be released on Janaury 1 (they did the same thing with TTT and ROTK), but it will be released on December 14th.

They're filming the Battle of Five Armies over the course of 3 months in 2013. Can't say more ;)
  • Lord StaffordLord Stafford Posts: 27,353 ✭✭✭✭✭
Even more holy shit! Hopefully it won't be cut down to about two or three minutes, like a certain something. I'm sure it won't be, as we all know how Jackson loves his battles.

But Jackson didn't finished the principal photography of the two movies?
  • Lord StaffordLord Stafford Posts: 27,353 ✭✭✭✭✭
If this is true, they'll make time for filming next year.

So Crucify the ego, before it's far too late, to leave behind this place so negative and blind and cynical. And you will come to find that we are all one mind, capable of all that's imagined and all conceivable.

Plus, although principal photography has indeed ended, that still leaves room for extra filming, such as this.

when are we getting a new trailer?
  • JasonJason Posts: 7,279 ✭✭✭✭✭
Was it confirmed that a trailer will be attached with the TDKR, or am I imagining things?

If it was, then probably next week. And I suspect the footage people at comic con will see is the trailer. Sort of an 'advance viewing' of it.

It still hasn't been confirmed. But I'd say it will be seeing as the new trailer was classified about 4 weeks ago and it still hasn't been released yet.

Peter Jackson being Peter Jackson will make everything, including the split, worth it.

The Hobbit won't need the extra hype from TDKR. It's big enough as it is.
