Okay, people are idiots. They're hating on the crane scene because it's too unrealistic?! Seriously? Is the world we live in just too full of assholes and dicks that even when threatened with death (mutation, same diff) that heroic acts by normal people is unrealistic? Dafuq? What's unrealistic is going FUUUUU to your city's hero, aka in TDK when Batman gets shit on by citizens who ignore all he did for them. One of them seems more realistic to me, and it sure as fuck ain't TDK.

Thought I would post this here...Here is a video by one of my favorite editors on the internet. Its of the first three Spiderman movies Its very very well done though
Read this guys, it's worth it. If you liked or hated this movie, this explains lots of plot holes. Apparently there were many, many scenes cut. Makes me wonder what actually happened.

Damn...this movie! I admit I was sceptical when this was announced, but it was everything I expected it not to be. I seriously can't think of a single thing I didn't like. There was more heart and soul in this than I've ever seen in a superhero movie. God I want a sequel.

all i can say is WOW. As much as i enjoy the original trilogy, this movie gave me such intense emotions that i never got from the Raimi spidey flicks. This movie just looked beautiful, to start it off. And the ensemble was truly perfectly cast. Garfield, Stone, Sheen, Ifans, Field...jesus christ...this movie had such heart to it. It pulled me in and never let me go. Im truly, truly impressed and i can honestly say this is right up there with Batman Begins as my favorite superhero movie. 10/10 from this guy
I saw it last night but I was too tired once I got home to talk about what I thought. There were too many things I had to say that could not be ignored and I didn't want to miss anything out so here goes.
OH. MY. GOD. This movie is by far, the best Marvel film I have ever seen, it is perfect in so many ways. It has exceeded my expectations and before I went into the film, of course, I was a fan of Spiderman but I was no where near as much of a fan as I am now. This film was so so so good, sublime, amazing, I could go on and on. Andrew Garfield is Peter Parker. Andrew Garfield is Spiderman. They could not have chosen a better actor for the role, he is perfect. James Horner. I can't got without mentioning his beast of a score. Wow. It was flawless and the theme that played constantly throughout the film was so fitting and as for that crane scene. I could not stop smiling at how sexy it was. You did it James Horner. You aced it. I really want to go on and on about this because there were so many great things about this film. I loved it so much.
Oh and one more thing. This movie completely crushes Raimi's trilogy. I'm sorry, but it does. This is the real Spiderman.

Agreed
Although, I still love Raimis trilogy, Im sure this new spiderman trilogy will be much better. It already did start off with a bang.
Btw, Batman Begins saved Batman way more than The Amazing Spiderman saved Spiderman IMO.

I would say it was better than begins by a little bit.

Amazing Spiderman, while better than Begins (To ME, though they are similar), only needed about a 80% turnaround.
Hope you like it!
