Joel Goldsmith (the son of Jerry Goldsmith) has passed away. He died at the age of 54, from the same disease that took his father's life. Joel scored several TV shows like Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis:

Last weekend I went to Pinkpop, one of the biggest and most loved music festivals in the Netherlands and it was amaaaaazing. So, these were sort of my high lights:
These 52 five guys that make the orchestra blew the audience away. They were so purely good. imo the emotion was heavier live than on screen, but it's still great (you'll see me at 4:12 lol)
This guy really was the boss of Pinkpop 2012 haha 'and it sound like shit' (you really should watch/listen to the second song, starts at like 3:10)
and of course the band I first decided to go to Pinkpop for: Mumford and Sons omg yay (and you'll see Seasick Steve sitting there, everyone started applauding when they showed him on the big screen - boss after all)
