if francis lawrence fails on catching fire drops out of mockingjay david yates should direct it that would be EPIC!!!!!! (i really think cf andm ockingjay should have smae director but if they lose lawrence yates for the win)
He may have made some great films in his career, but his last two or three movies have been pretty bad which is enough to convince me he's lost his touch. :P Maybe if Catching Fire had been made 10 years ago I would've obliged.
I liked The Happening. It is sort of slow, but really strange at the same time. And The Village is an amazing movie how at first it seems to be a story about the boy and then he gets stabbed and really the story is about the girl in the end. I want to watch it now.

People shouldn't judge The Happening because the movie is not what Shyamalan intended. The original script was way diferent, FOX made Him rewrite the script. I have hopes for After Earth, especially because I'm following Shyamalan's Twitter account and he really works very hard (he worked a year into the script) and knows how to make a movie.
Almost 200 million dólars in overseas with the movie just released in Spain with the release in other countries very soon, and the first movie adaptation of a relatively unknown book trilogy, is far from bad. And it just made money than the first Twilight movie in overseas.
The movie overall has done ridiculously better than anyone would have expected.
It may not be as popular overseas, but I don't really understand why that is such a huge issue. We know they're making the next few movies and it will grow in popularity.
I would love to see Betty White in this, If she gets chosen you will all have your foots in your mouths, anyone who watched the golden girls knows she's got range, she may be charming and be hilarious, but on the show she had a few sad episodes where she really tapped into drama and well...Ive got my fingers crossed for this haha
I think Shyamalan would be an amazing choice! Okay, The Happening and Last Airbender sucked, but come on, guys. He can made some fking amazing movies
The Sixth Sense was amazing. Unbreakable was amazing. Signs was amazing. The Village was amazing. Lady in the Water was mediocre. The Happening was bad. The Last Airbender was enjoyable but acted and written horribly.
Me and some other users have talked with Adam on chat and he is trying to be a better person and stuff. And, before criticizing someone else, hesitate and pay attention if you are not acting in the same way. We already have a lot of hate on this forum. We don't need more.
