Deathly Hallows: Part 1 was released on DVD and blu-ray.

And on April 27, 2011 (we're about two weeks from being one year after) the first Part 2 teaser was released:

Time flies so much, and our first Potter-free year for a long time has had it's ups and downs. I myself am not too plagued by Post Potter Depression as I thought I would be, but it still pains me now and again that we'll never get to experience another midnight release, trailer release, dvd release, or even simple anticipation with as much excitement and fervor as one of the Potter films.

It's been a bittersweet few months since DH2 came out. However, don't feel too sad about PPD: we still have the potential for 3D re-releases of the films, the new Encyclopedia, new artwork and information to be revealed on Pottermore, not to mention Rowling's new book (and a potential film if it becomes a hit, which it most likely will be).

Kind of a vague thread, but I felt the need to create it for some reason.

I still remember when you saw all the DH1 copies locked up in Best Buy and posted a picture.

And going to Best Buy right before it closed on that Saturday night, and coming home and watching it as my first ever picture on blu-ray. :') What an experience.

Yeah we were only like 2 months away from the final film this time last year, god it was exciting, all the anticipation. The Post Potter Depression hit me badly for the first couple weeks after DH2 was released, after that it was still very sad to think about the fact there would be no more but hey, as you said Aaron we have loads to look forward to still!

This was a great day! I got the day off from school and my dad took me to get it. I'm not lieing, like legit I watched it from start to finish 4 times that day. I watched it myself, took it to my friends to watch it again, watched it with my parents, then my brother hahaha.

I remember when people though that they didn't release the teaser trailer in march because of the tsunami in Japan and how it can affect them because in the trailer of hp were in tsunami voldemort face so they pushed the trailer hahahaha :P
