im lucky this month as well tom felton and the twins at comic con WHOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
Done that. Met them all as well as Natalia, Stan & Rob :P
i have not met them yet as comiccon does not happen untill march 30th. and in other news i get to travel around the U.S Starting in April to follow my fave band on tour. and possibly Europe and Austrailia in The Fall. something im sure you will never in your lifetime do.
I don't care for music. I am going to the U.S in October / November this year. I'm going to L.A and Florida (For the WWoHP). I live in Australia so I don't need to go there because I'm obviously already here.
I loved that TV Spot, far out, the view of the Capitol. The chariots. This looks so crazy!!!!!!! And Cinna and Katniss :O I can't believe it's about 2 weeks away.
“Set in a dystopian future, the central premise of The Hunger Games is that of an oppressed society forced to nominate 24 teenagers to fight to the death for the entertainment of their rulers. These ‘games’ are satirically presented in the manner of a reality television gameshow.
While this fantasy/sci-fi setting is firmly established, parents should note that the violence, though not explicit, is often presented in a gritty and realistic fashion.
While the film frames this violence within a positive moral framework and provides a reassuring outcome (i.e., the ‘good’ or ‘heroic’ characters prevail), the intensity of some of the threatening and violent situations make ‘The Hunger Games’ unsuitable for younger viewers.
Films classified 12A have been deemed appropriate for viewers of twelve and over. This particular film is at the high end of this classification.”
I believe the film's been rated 15 in England...or so says @Ash lol
Aw hell no! You know what this means? Lionsgate will agree to cuts so they can get a lower rating, and the UK will be stuck again with a toned down version of a movie. They did this with The Woman in Black too. It's not as if The Hunger Games has many young fans (or many at all) over here right now. I hope this either isn't true or Lionsgate don't agree to cuts.
Seriously, the UK can pride itself all it wants on how it doesn't censor as much shit as America, but when it comes to violence, people in the BBFC just don't seem able to cope.
Yeah, that's apparently what's happening @Braveheart. I think Lionsgate keeps sending some censored versions to the BBFC to try for a 12A, but I'm not sure what's happening.
btw, I´m not being purist here (ok I am lol) But I really wanted the cornucopia being gold it´s such an symbolic part of the book...I just hope that picture is only the first design...I want it gold

That reporter from twitter that tweeted behind the scenes stuff from the Hunger Games said they painted it gold. So that pic is when they finished building the thing.
Guys I got excited today when I strolled into ToysRUs haha xD Check out your stores if you lie in the USA, they have most of NECA's line. The action figures looked better than I expected and I picked me up a mockingjay pin ^_^
Heres a photo of what they had (The box of the bottom is full of Katniss, Peeta and Gale Life size Standees :O )
No it would not at all... And Im usually not purist...But this detail is just so important in my head...it´s present in many scenes...and so far the movies looks amazing how I pictured it. And having that gray thing in every scene it´s involved...I dont know. Im guilty
I do, I do...is just so dificult to explain... I´ve never really cared about a detail so much I am surprised myself...Anyway, If it´s the case it´s not like it will ruin the film or anything
god Im not even mad about madge not being in!! why does it affect me that much??...Im against purism!!! hahaha I had no idea how much I loved the cornucopia element until this...Im surprised...

Shit, I should be there already
The cinematography's just so great, the way the movie's shot makes it look so raw, cruel. It's perfect.
