People have a right to call out the ceremony, especially since it's declining in quality. Crystal is on auto-pilot, they're recycling cheap montages, etc. The "hate" is entirely justified, and IMO is more reasonable than being suckered by nostalgia.

I hope they announce visual effects soon so i don't need to watch any longer. The twilight part was the downfall of the academy. Hugo deserved the art direction. But the makeup from DH2 was better than the iron lady.
This isn't "Cheer Everything the Academy Awards Does" either, so unless you want to go off and create that thread stop trying to set a tone that favors your speech. Criticizing how they present the ceremony is just as valid a reaction as praising, or reacting with "Oh my god, aren't they just precious?".
Sound for Hugo? lmao. Hell even Transformers sounded better for the 45 minutes I seen of that movie.
