Well even when the film comes out I am sure some people (mostly teenagers) will be saying that the Hunger Games is better than Harry Potter for the sole reason of more action.
You know my library teacher person was on set when they filmed the cave seane in the hunger games. Not like on screan by behind the scens kind of she said

Yep. They have held the license for several years now. There are photos of figure sculpts floating around twitter. I saw some the other day. I remember seeing one of Jennifer Lawrence's character.
I'm still going to say it's the trailer announcement. Next week is the release of Journey 2, and it was expected to be attached to it. It makes sense that they'll announce it late this week, premiere it Monday/Tuesday online, then have it with the film.

I know, since that I've read the book, I can't wait for the movie. Just hoping not to fight with annoying purists because they changed a useless detail.
I think I'm going to pick up the first book again and try to finish it before the movie. My hubby just finished Catching Fire....I think he's hooked XD XD.....he's telling me now that we have to see the movie and keeps asking when it comes out LOL
i like just started the last book. Catching Fire was REALLY good though, Carne the action comes at Chapter 19. Did you past the part when Peeta and KAtniss are watching past Hunger Games?
This happened to me too, when I read the second book. I didn't think it really picked up until just a bit before halfway through the book! I had a hard time getting through the first half.
Eh, the Capitol looks cool but not really what I imagined. I saw it as more of a high-tech city with tall skyscrapers rather than shorter, spread-out buildings. And the City Circle wasn't a long walkway, and I didn't see at as surrounded by mountains. :P Still, I guess it's pretty cool nonetheless.
It will most likely get Costume Design or Make-up, based on what we saw so far. But that's it. Unless the movie is so unbelievably good, then it can get some like Sound Editing, Art Direction, and more.
