The end of the HP DECADE......Anyone else feel sad?

Just having a quiet moment of reflection
I gazed over at my dvd shelf for a second and saw the entire 8 film blu ray set

It hit me, i cant quite believe its complete! There on my shelf as mundane as anything but soooo many happy memories attached to it!

The sun outside is blazing, its a beautiful crisp Winters day. And im feeling really meloncholy! Like the adventure is over!

I always pictured what it would be like to see the full collection together, years and years ago! then Goblet of fire joined the ranks, then Order, and prince and finally both Hallows!

This time last year id just seen part 1, part 2 felt sooooo far in the future! But there they are, sitting happily together!

Time is slipping away people!

I feel sad, but happy because it happened. I have my entire childhood atached to harry potter. what can I say?
The first one came out when I was in primary school. Last one, college. It´s an entire adventure. It was getting excited for vacations because another movie was coming out.

I also tought about it recently. I just started holidays and I was like "Oh my, these are the first vacations I dont have a new movie to hype for...damn"

But I knew this day was coming, and I´m glad because of that amazing experience

I mean I'll always be obsessed with the Potterverse, it's too great to ignore, but it is nice to have other things to look forward to.

If you had posted this a few months ago, I'd say yes.

But now I'm happy. Happy to be part of such an amazing generation, and to have Harry and his world in my heart, where they'll stay for the rest of my life.

I was Sad in July when DH2 Came out but ive moved on and im looking forward to new things. The Hunger Games. The Hobbit ect. Potter will always hold a special place in my heart.

Wel actualy what makes me sad isn't really that the HP saga is over but that I know that I'll never live something like this in my life again.
-I'll never spend 10 hours a day on the internet just to get news about the next Potter movie again.
-I'll never have this kinda stressful feeling right before a movie starts and the everyone starts screeming when the WB logo appear.
-I'll never have this "I can't wait for the next one" feeling again. (Actualy I certainly will but not on an as big scale as for HP).

BUT

The worst is that I'll never be reading/watching the books/movies again without knowing what is going to happen.
This is what makes me said.

But well some other cool things exist in life and at least we had HP.

I'm glad it's over. It ended on a satisfying note and it will always have a special place in my heart, but it's time to move on, as Bane said. There won't be another series book or film that I will be so obsessed with ever again, and thanks god for that. :-B
