I received a "Deluminator" as a Christmas gift and wanted to know what others thought of it (and other movie replicas). I've been a fan of the Harry Potter stories since J.K. Rowling began writing them and was inspired to develope a wizard-themed magic show.
Hello everyone!! I am very excited to be accepted to this forum. So a little about me....My name is Brietta (you can still call me DreamChaser or DC if that's easier), I'm 21 years old and I've been a huge fan of the books since I read the first one at 10. My favorite character has always been and will always be Snape but I also love Hermione, Dumbledore and the Weasley twins. I'm so happy to be here, I desperately need a place to escape to and connect with other superfans!
my name is Cheraye or Raye for short. i love love love HP. i wanted to join for the pure fact is that i need crazy people who like harry potter as much as i do to talk to:)
Hi guys! My name is Trine, and I’m form Norway. I’ve been a huge HP fan since I was 10- 11 and the first book came out. I’ve read all the books like a million times. I’ve also seen all the movies several times, but I’m a much bigger fan of the books. The movies don’t give me the same feelings as I get from the books. My favorite HP book is OOTP, because I cried like a little baby when Sirius died. When I died in the movie I was like “Whaaaaaaat?!?! Was that it”. I love DH, both parts, but I also love the two first movies, though it’s come to my attention that I might be the only one in the world. The reason I love them is because I feel they’ve captured the magic of Hogworts in them. The other movies are so dark and all about war, while the two first movies are colorful and also has a focus on all the magic. My favorite character is Luna, because I feel she is a bit like me. But I also love McGonagall, because she can be very strict and a teacher you fear a little bit but still respects with all your heart, but you sometimes see there is so much sweetness beneath it all. I totally love the scene in DH2 where she says “I’ve always wanted to use that spell”. She is really cute there. LOL.
Hello, fellow lovers of the best saga in the entire world! A couple days ago I was thinking about the world of Harry Potter and how much I miss it and then it hit me: forums! There are forums out there! So I looked up ''Harry Potter forum'' on Google, and this was the first one listed. So, I checked it out and applied for membership and now I'm here writing this... I am a Finn-Canadian (parents were born and raised in Finland), and I grew up in British Columbia. I am the sixth of fourteen children in a devoutly Lutheran family -- and we have no problem with Harry Potter like so many other Christians out there (They're just pretentious fools, if you don't me saying. Even if you do mind me saying I'm still going to say it). I have read and listened to and watched Harry Potter (the movies SUCK, in my humble opinion), although I only watched the movies so I could see how badly they ruined HP for the ppl out there that are too busy/lazy to read. Jim Dale is an awesome reader of the books, I love him; if you haven't listened to the audio books, I'd suggest doing so. Okay, I'm totally assuming I'm the #1 fan here, sorry And this is probably a long enough rant! P.S. I'm a girl. Turning 20 soon, woot! Wait, I don't wanna get old, waaaah! Ok, I'll definitely shut up now.
@Trinz You are not the only one who loves the first two HP films. I love them both. The first film is very special to me. I absolutely agree with you that the magic was captured in the first two films.
To further prove it, my first post talked about the chat, aaron brought up about me not seeing DH2, which while is yes on my profile was not left on a post. I also have plenty of proof of my history that lead up to not seeing DH, and still have the reciept when I returned the DVD.
Critics who treat adult as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. - C. S. Lewis
LOL guys lay off Aratron lmao Just because he hasn't seen DH doesn't mean he isnt less of a fan. I may be jumping to conclusions but he sounds like a book fan
Haha I'll try man, I have to work hard to catch up to all the shit I missed last week, plus now it's the new (and harder) semester. But I'll see what I can do.

Greetings. My name is Ben, and I'm a college student.
I've been a Harry Potter fan for a long time, and my Mom got me hooked to the series. I like the books better, however, I think Fanfiction is where I belong.
My favorite character is Bellatrix, and my least favorite character is either Snape, or Umbridge.
