thats impossible. Its fanmade and this is how it was meant to be according to the script. The blu ray just showed the Del scene (but not edited back in) and the MMM explained why it was cut (the handshake)
i didn't watch it.i thought it was from the maximum movie mode xD
I don't mind the handshaking.. But for me, it's unforgivable they left the scene with Fiona Shaw out. As unforgivable as they left In Noctem out. I won't ever be able to forgive Heyman, or Yates, or Day to leaving those out.
Do you think that he could add the "Why do you live" scene? All happens like in the movie and before Voldemort hurts Harry phisically, the scene appears. And after that Harry falls to the floor. It could work!

I don't think either are unforgivable, I think both were smart choices to cut.
Well It seems that somebody sent him my suggestion. Great work!
Why would they cut that?
I really don't understand.
Did Mark Day think... "ooh the film is 10 seconds longer than it should be, people are gonna walk out CHOP"
That's certainly what happens. On top of that we can see Fred and George in the background which makes an even better cut to their scene while some people in the theater might not know where Fred and George were.
I think that this scene was cut ou is unforgivable. There was just no disadventage : -10 seconds more movie. -not too many visual effects (Oo one green screen -_- ) -An emotional scene. -More Lupin/Tonks story which was never used in any of the movies.
Hey guys, I'm McGloomy, the YouTube user who edited these videos. Thank you for your comments, it's nice to know someone actually watches those.
Well It seems that somebody sent him my suggestion. Great work!
Thanks! I saw on my YouTube insight pages that my videos are linked from here, so I was able to read your suggestion personally.
Do you think that he could add the "Why do you live" scene?
I'm gonna try that one next week.
Your editing is great!
It would be great if you could merge both films (both part 1 and 2) into one film with most of the deleted scenes put back in and put it up for download on PirateBay or something. I'm sure lots of people would appreciate that!

You are a better editor than Mark Day.
Hahahahaha. You guys blame Mark Day too much! Poor editors! Remember that the final word always comes from the producer and the director
Wrong, the editor takes most of the responsabilities himself. If there's like a very important thing (in the editor's opinion), he can ask the director to come, but he certainly didn't feel that those 10 seconds were very important. Most of the time the director checks two or three times what he's doing and says that's great but.... . I think while working on a 250 million dollar movie, you don't remember a small 10 seconds shot...
Or WB. They might have said "But guys, are we gonna have time to add the shitty converted 3D if there's 10 extra seconds of Lupin ant Tonks?"
This reason doesn't cut it, as the majority of the film was still 2D. Only select shots were in 3D.
The entire movie is in 3D, almost each scene, I tried to take my glasses of on a lot of slow scenes and it was 3D. On action scenes, I didn't even have to do it, you could see it was 3D.

Did you watch in IMAX 3D?
Of course, otherwise I wouldn't be commenting this.

I watched it twice in IMAX 3D and not every shot was in 3D.
@Firefly Could you please tell me which ? I watched the movie 7 times (in 3D) and even the times I didn't take out the glasses, I noticed that it was 3D (if you look at the corners of the giant screen, you can see when it's 3D or not).

I couldn't tell you exactly every single shot, but I remember the shot of the dragon breathing fire in Gringotts not being in 3D, as I expected the fire to come out at me.

That's not because it wasn't 3D but because the fire wasn't completely on screen. If you want something to look like 3D, you need it to be framed and nothing must exceed the camera's frame otherwise it kind of ruins the 3D effect. That's also why most of the 3D publicities are surrounded by black. Thanks to that they have some extra space and the effects look more 3D like. I hope you understood what I meant I'm not very good at english.
There was no depth to that shot either. It wasn't 3D.
I don't think so because this shot was entirely made by the visual effects team and Tim Burke said in an interview that they made the 3D convertion after they put the visual effects on it. So maybe (even if I'm not sure) a few shots without CGI were in 2D but this shot was ONLY CGI so I'm almost 100% sure that it was 3D. Plus this shot was even in the first HP7 trailer which let them enough time to convert it in 3D.
You might be right about the fact that all the shots weren't in 3D but this one was.
I'm editing everything at Shell Cottage together. Can someone upload it on Youtube for me?
If you want to, I can. My Youtube account has the same name than the HP forum one. Do you think they might delete the account if I put such a kind of video online ?
Can you do the bridge deleted scene with no green screen ?
That one might be tricky because there's just such a lot of green screen visible, but I will at least try.
I tried (very quickly) to erase the green screens and replace them by some background forest or some smoke (when we see the bottom of the bridge with Seamus...) but it seems like, because of the colour correction they added, the green screens just can't be erased that well and the only method left is to erase the background picture per picture.
If you want to try it, good luck, it's going to be a very tough job
