The sequence when harry comes back to life is one hell of a sequence- the facial expressions by everyone and the malfoys fleeing makes the whole battle feel like its finally on our side, like the good guys have the upper hand

One of my favorite shots in the movie is now the shot with the giants and DEs running down the slope towards the bridge/castle, its seriously so grand and epic and really sets the tone of the rest of the scene.

The acting from Tom Felton, although short was amazing, his facial expression when his parents call him over is great..major props to Tom for owning the role Of Draco and expressing the confliction with ease.

The harry and ginny kiss, is the first moment i could believe they were a couple. I love ginnys "i know " line and bonnie, although weak, had her best performance in this movie.

One of the best directed and edited scenes is the scene with harry having visions of voldemort while struggling in the murky water, the flashes are timed perfectly and it just is another example at how PERFECTLY the relationship between harry and voldemort is balanced and portrayed in this film

I adore the way Voldemort's reaction to the diadem destruction is done. There is so much just in that simple moment. The way Nagini tenses as Voldemort's shock rushes through her; the way Voldemort hugs himself as if he's freezing makes him seem so vulnerable, and how Harry also shivers and hugs himself; how it cuts between Harry and Voldemort with the camera panning round from opposing directions, setting them so visually against one another. Then the camera kind of sways about disorientatingly while Voldemort kills Pius, which really hits home how disorientated Voldemort is by the Horcrux destruction as he staggers about. And I love that Harry's reaction was so much more subtle than clutching his scar and screaming. In fact, I don't think we saw Harry grab his scar once in Yates's movies, which I really like. It suggests the connection between Harry and Voldemort runs for deeper than a simple cut, which it does of course.

Harry screams in DH1 during the Sky Battle scene, when his scar hurts.

Yeah I said clutching his scar and screaming. He didn't do the mandatory scar clutch. That was horribly overdone movies 1 through 4. The time his scar hurts in the 7 Potters was also really well done with the fast cuts of his face.
