This is a mockery to be honest. Agree with you Chris. It may not even be in January 2012, but as late as Summer I think. Who will come to this beta site till then on a regular basis? The new CEO must do something.
Something must be really wrong. I can't imagine anyone going back regularly for that long with no new content. I would assume by January the sites activity will be pretty dismal.
It's pretty cool the first time. They have no factor to make you come back. Had the whole thing been an online encyclopedia with new information posted every once in a while, Potter fans would use it for reference all the time. Had it been a MMORPG, everyone would be playing it all day long. But, yeah, it is very boring unless there's something you haven't tried yet.
I log in to brew potions for house points, but I do other things while waiting for them to brew. I think each chapter should be longer, because we go through them so quickly and there are only seven...
I don't even log in since I haven't been able to brew potions since the first week I got in :l And there doesn't seem to be a way to even contact them. Right now its Potterfail sadly.

^ That's right.. First book completed , 2-3 potions brewed and its getting boring alrdy haven't been on pottermore like a week..
I suggested that Sorting should be more than 7 questions and should not be influenced AT ALL by trying to keep the houses even for the House Cup. I also suggested allowing Beta users the option of resetting their account once the changes have been made, allowing those who got sorted "wrong" another shot at it.
Also, there seemed to be several questions that made it sound like the Sorting was effected by the House Cup Tournament.
It basically talks about: Many of you have told us how much you like the Pottermore artwork, so we thought you might enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at how it was created. We spoke to the Atomhawk Design team, who were responsible for creating the Pottermore illustrations, and in this post (the first of two) we’re going to look at how they went about creating the Ravenclaw and Gryffindor crests.

I don't think sorting is rigged or tampered with to be honest. I myself went through sorting twice ( two different accounts, and later giving one of them to a person who wanted to be in the same house I had got), and BOTH the times, I got Hufflepuff. And 3/4 wuestions out of the 7 were completely different from the first time.
If you do answer truthfully, you will get that house which you are supposed to get. Unless of course, you want to get something which you are not. And then, after manipulating the answers, how can anyone complain that they have got the "wrong house"? I am not saying to you in particular. What I mean is that there is nothing wrong with Sorting. So it makes no sense to reset your account and try to get another house. That's just manipulation. Think about it.
So I haven't been on Pottermore for about 5/6 weeks because I started university but I had the chance today to go on and check things out. Why is the duelling STILL under maintenance?? It's just ridiculous now
I'm not sure, but I got a friend request from him/her as well. By the way, I also friended you I'm VineAuror.
I got one from him/her too. How mysterious..lol
Oooh lolol, they've got 800 friends lmfao.
They must be the ones who melt their cauldrons on every potion attempt and are hoping to get potion ingredients in gifts because they squander so much away?LOL. Or is it their insecurity? "LOOK AT ME BITCHES! 800 FRIENDS! AND LOOK AT YOU ..YOU F*CKING LONER". [-(
Pottermore Insider just posted and GUESS WHAT!?!?! The site has been delayed AGAIN! At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't open until 2012. This is just annoying.
