But there could still be a trailer in August - remember that media analyst who said we'd get a Part 1 trailer a couple of months after the teaser, which was in June ? August is about the right time. The only question is when in August ?

"WB France have just posted this message on their site: We can confirm that we have no plans to release the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows footage that was screened at Comic-Con last weekend. However, Potter fans should not be disheartened as we can confirm that in the coming days the first official theatrical trailer for Part 1 of the movie will be made available for viewing online. This trailer will also be available to see in mind-blowing 3D with the upcoming release of Piranha: 3D, August 20th. "
=> In France, are you sure ? XD
WB France post messages on their site ? No, they have mails (and newletters for fans!)
=> Images, trailers, posters, products... : I can confirm it is soon (before november) :-p
and guys yeah we only have one offical trailer but their promoting the shit out of this the hbp dvd the mtv awards the last potter weekend and aobut the lack of comic-con footage not a wiase man but an idiot who sometimes gets lucky and says something wise (this being one of them) once said contreversy creates cash and this contreversy was pretty big
August is already here......so in a month lets hope we see a new trailer.....wow time flies by i still remember when we got the first official trailer of DH as if it was yesterday..... R:,)
Well Dashape about your "Columbus kiddie" point but I DO think it would be extremely difficult to make a super dramatic, dark and enchantingly magical film like SS that appeals to adults and teenagers when the main character is a scrawny eleven year old boy with a very high voice. It wouldn't appeal to me if I wasn't a Potter fan beforehand. I think that's why Columbus changed Percy Jackson's age from the book for the Lightning Thief movie to seventeen--to appeal to more teenagers, since he's 12 in the story.
Very good point! It would be hard to market SS as a super dark film but I still think it could have been made darker for less of a climb to older audience later on in the series.
Yeah i agree with u dashape......they couldve shown DE since SS......like glimpses u know?? but it was still good after all thats wat got me into HP.... R
Yeah, It's all about limited personal perception I guess . . . see richard, weren't you about 10 when that movie came out? I was already out of high school at that point so while I though SS was ok, I still thought it was kiddie (however I saw the potential behind the story). Still, it wasn't until Azkaban that I was impressed and that's what got me to read the books (well, that and my wife LOL).
HAHAHA..YEAH I TOTALLY SEE BUT IF IT WASNT KIDDIE I PROBABLY WOULDNT LIKE IT.....NOW I WISHED IT WOULDVE BEEN DARKER BUTIF IT WAS DARK I PROBABLY WOULDNT LIKE IT THEN KNOW WAT I MEAN??? r
I don't recall you saying anything about it here on this board. Anyway, I just might consider forking out 3 or 4 dollars to see TSA when it comes to the dollar theater just to see this DH trailer on the big screen.
