They did email me back today about the potions issue and said they are "working on it" and they thanked me for my screen captures.
What's wrong with your potions?
I'm in the potion loop. I've been there since August 18.
loop?
Yes - my potion is 100% brewed but "requires my attention" and when I go to attend to it, it's back at the beginning of the two-step process. So I am "looped" and have been for 2 weeks.
I know this is random Ironbelly, but its gonna be really funny if your patronus isn't an owl.

Mine does that occantionally too, I just keep doing it and by the third or fourth time it goes right.

Damnit, of course when I have a potion going, but yesterday when I didn't brew any did it go down? Noooooo. lol.

I have been battling this madness for who-knows-how-many attempts. The good part is that I have shared lots of screen grabs with the Pottermore folks, and they actually requested other screen grabs and URLs, so it gives me a sense that they are actually doing something with what I've sent them.
Of course they could be just asking for stuff to make me happy so I won't bug them more often. ;-)

I was just about to start another looped potion attempt and it went to the purple screen -- I thought I broke something badly!

Does anyone believe the sorting process is legit. Now I think about it, isn't it a bit odd that all the houses have near enough equal student numbers. I'm not saying that's impossible or anything but it just seems a bit.... contrived... to me :-??
Yeah, maybe. I think it's slightly fixed. For example there were thousands more Ravenclaws and then overnight it was even. Well I definitely think the questions at Ollivander's are half to do with what house you'll get in.
They would like to have "balanced " number of students in each house , dont they???? And whatever be the procedure, it must average out as the number of students increases.... Also Nimbus, if you come to think of it, even Hogwarts had nearly same of number of people in each house for every year, didnt it????

I totally get that their was equal amounts of students in Hogwarts, but I honestly think it's fixed :P If it was really fair then the amounts for each house would be different, but their nearly the exact same
Yeah, I'll answer with: I want to be feared, I most look forward to studying jinxes and hexes, I want to kill mudbloods etc ad Pottermore will be all like "well we haven't had a Gryffindor in a while, so better be: GRYFFINDOR!"

Well if you answered with those first two answers you'd probably be Gryffindor or Slytherin, so....
Damn, well if one house had more members than the others (just like Ravenclaw first had), the points would never be fair.... one house would be first simply because they have more people still kinda sucks though
I think it's legit. But they have the questions so you can't really cheat. It's just probability that makes it somewhat even out. Though I wonder if they have the total house points evened out depending on total members. So like if Gryffindor had a lot more members than hufflepuff, each point a gryffindor student would count a little less that a hufflepuff student.

And, I'd hate to tell her, her identity can't be known if it's just her first name. Stupid.
What's really funny is according to Deo, none of that is cheating.
